Probably closer to 4.5 stars for me, but given I’m the first rating and it’s opening day, I’ll lean higher!

Overall, the food was flavorful and prepared quickly. The Pineapple Red Curry was delicious and an excellent blend between spicy and sweet. The Pad Kee Mao Chicken was amazing and just the right spicy for me.

Only point of improvement might be the fried rice. The sausage used was a little sweet for my taste and the only sauce provided was the red chili sauce, so we had to add soy sauce for the non-spicy lovers. I think other Thai places in general do better with their fried rice.

Inside dining is a couple of bar style seating at the window, nothing fancy but clean.

Pricing was good compared to other east side Thai options.

In summary – plan to return next time we want some Thai!

We tried a bit of everything. It was good sized portions, we shared between 7 people & had some leftover. We got a couple curry’s (yellow/red), chicken pad thai, & tried their pineapple fried rice. It was all good! We did have ours delivered.

I’m not going to get political or be mean unnecessarily. I’m just going to be honest, because that’s what you deserve. You deserve to have customers who care about the quality of your food. For what I just paid, I expect far more than what I got. I heard my girlfriend say this is the best Thai restaurant in Bend. Well, Bend, have I got some words for your food critics; go back to school and leave the reviewing to us big leaguers. The food wasn’t great. Chicken in my Pad Thai was tough and the sauce was overly sweet. I didn’t get any water served to me. Do better, Bend.

I used to go to A Taste of Thailand all the time when I was in high school and college and I was so sad when it changed ownership. Then I saw the announcement that the original owners and chefs were opening a new place and I could hardly contain my excitement.
I got the green curry and it tasted exactly as I remembered. So, so thankful to have excellent Thai cuisine in Bend again. Welcome back!!!

Thai food is one of our favorites we could not wait until the day that honies opened up. my wife wanted to try the pumpkin curry which it was not available I had the noodles the food was terrible. I hate to say it, but it was. Curry was very bland, and so was the noodles The pork and the noodles was very dry The portions were small, we’re sorry, but I know it’s a new business just opened up, but we will not be returning.

Didn’t want to write a negative review but as a family that traveled to Thailand and loves all different regions of Thai food this was poor qualityand just not good. The curry was extremely watery with overcooked meat. It tasted as if it were made days ahead of time and the cabbage (odd addition) tasted off. The pad Thai was syrupy sweet. We ordered it spicy and it had zero spice. The shrimp was tasty and well cooked but unfortunately overshadowed by the sweetness and overcooked noodles. We won’t be coming back. We were hoping to have a new Thai food favorite on the Eastside but sadly this won’t be it. Hope they are able to take this feedback and make some changes that make things more appealing for customers.

I’m sorry, I hate to do this but feedback is important. I’ve been eating honies curries for anround 10 years and they have always been amazing. I ordered the masaman curry today and it’s nothing like what your curries used to be. It was watered down, potatoes were not soft, and if eaten with the rice there was no flavor at all. If it’s expensive to use more spices I would understand increasing your prices. I would rather have your curries taste like they used to. Please make them how you used to.

We wanted to love it and hoped it was the same as the old cart, but it wasn’t. Watery curry lacking flavor. Drunken noodles were gelatinous and tasted old. Sweet rice had bananas and a few black beans and tasted funky. We may give it one more try in awhile.

Did take-out. Was unfortunately the worst Thai food we’ve ever had. Very disappointing, given we were quite excited about a new Thai place in town. Noodle dishes were flavorless, and the meet (both chicken and pork) was heavily over cooked – hard and dry. Don’t like writing negative reviews, but hopefully this provides some constructive feedback and a catalyst for improvements.
