Simple, unpretentious but excellent Chinese flavors and cooking techniques, such as you would hope for in a restaurant of this kind. The chicken with garlic sauce was superb, though order it extra spicy. Ask for their hot chili oil—an excellent complement to all the dishes.

I’ve heard amazing things about this place, lots of people in the area say it’s one of the best and the food can’t be beat… but honestly, my food was pretty mid. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken, with both the egg drop and hot & sour soup, the eggroll, and the fried rice, and it was just alright. The Sweet and sour chicken didn’t have much flavor to it, and it was kind of dry and definitely needed more flavor. The hot & sour soup though was incredible and I really enjoyed it! The egg drop was good. The fried rice I wish would’ve come with the egg and ham and usual fried rice ingredients, but it was just rice. Anyways the food was just alright, maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff. The staff was incredible though and super kind and friendly and the restaurant is very clean and nice also. Maybe I’ll come here again just to try something else out, but my Sweet and sour chicken lunch special wasn’t something I’ll spend $12 on in the future.

Love this place.. We drive out of the way from Durango to go here. I ordered the lunch cashew chicken and it was better than May palace cashew chicken. (That’s not to say May Palace is not good, they’ve got the best Mandarin Beef!) This place is never crowded, they’re friendly, and I think most people would love them. What a wonderful lunch day.

I’ve been to many locations for Asian food and this is by far the greatest place that I have found in La Plata County. I got there in the evening time and I noticed it was quite a bit of customers that come in for pickup orders but the location itself was pretty vacant. As far as proportion I would say that they sell with filling each other customers plate with plenty and enough to take home.

We stopped here for lunch while passing through town. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and the super friendly staff. I had the lunch serving of General Tso’s chicken and I was shocked when a heaping plate of freshly prepared food arrived at the table. It was absolutely delicious and, for the price, an awesome deal! I will definitely return to this location in the future.

The wait staff was so sweet, and the food was fresh and oh so delicious! We just moved to Bayfield and tried Hong’s with our relatives. We all thought the food excellent! We will be coming back and bringing others with us!
