Restaurant is clean. Service is outstanding: quick, efficient, friendly, and attentive.
Portion sizes are large. Ingredients are high quality. Everything tastes fresh, clean, and light – never greasy or heavy. Wonderful value!
Every dish I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Can’t recommend HKS2 highly enough!!
The food was high caliber—the parking options were endless. We had a 7 minute wait and you couldn’t even tell. It was busy. The parking lot had so much space.
And the food… I dare say it’s even better than Hong Kong Station 1! The sweet and sour chicken is increíble perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about trying this place.
Their to-go service is fast and reliable, and the food is always fresh and well packaged.
Great service, delicious food, and consistently a great experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back!Thank you Danny !
Food is averagely priced, about $10-20 for the protein, rice comes free. The beef tendon and brisket was the most tender I’ve had in ages, but the curry could use more spice and punch. Thought what it lacked in flavour, it made up for in immaculate texture and generosity. The garlic eggplant had an absurd amount of flavour and in a perfect balance. Everything was cooked well. I’d also avoid the fried rice, the extra fried-ness and bits of egg weren’t worth the detracting in taste of the wondrous dishes. I reckon most dishes already have enough flavour to use white rice. Portions are generous, two proteins can likely be apt for 3 people. So though I spent 40+ bucks, divide by 3.
Shoutout to Danny, the front man who makes you feel like you walked into his home. We had great conversation and connected on a more personal level than most restaurant staffers are bothered to think about. This is how F&B should be, I actually feel good about tipping!! Danny, If you’re reading this, God bless your wife and young baby kid!
Atmosphere is relaxed with some normal pop music. The furniture made me feel transported into a shop from home, and nostalgia overwhelmed.
Overall great experience, only docking a half point for my poor decision on the fried rice and less flavourful curry. Oh! And the curry version of the beef brisket and tendon is cheaper than the non-curry version? Might give that a shot next time.
We ordered a smattering of dishes to get a broad taste of the menu and every single item was excellent.
My absolute favorite item we got was the Szechuan wings. They were perfectly crispy and flavorful from being tossed in the chili oil. They were topped with pan fried green onion and crispy peppercorn adding smoky and spicy flavor and texture. Some of my favorite wings I’ve had in the city.
The Szechuan beef, beef chao fan, and sesame chicken were all stellar. The lo mein was surprisingly flavorful with a touch of garlic. The scallion pancakes were a nice savory palate cleanser between the various dishes. And last but not least, the jalapeno cream cheese wontons were so fresh and carefully made. The quality in these were clearly far beyond the typical wonton available at many places.
All in all, one of the best meals I’ve had this year and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have them in the neighborhood. I can’t wait to order from them again as soon as we finish all of these great leftovers.
