This is by far the best and most consistent Chinese restaurant I’ve found in the Hanover area. We’ve had many of the items on their menu and can honestly say that only one we were not a fan of, in fact, that was actually last night. The fried wontons were not your typical pan fried, and were almost deep fried on one side, we ended up tossing them out. Short of that however, the rest of the menu is DELICIOUS!

I’ve been ordering from Hong Kong for well over a decade, and I’ve never had a bad meal. Quality is great, and they always give you plenty of food. The staff is nice and courteous. However, the lighting spectrum inside the restaurant leaves much to be desired in terms of ambiance. A true Hanover gem of a Chinese food restaurant!

Bottom line: we’ve never been disappointed. Food is great! Orders have always been correct and flavors consistent. I have read many reviews regarding their lack of “customer service”. So true … but so what? Their independent, hard working and deserve a grumpy day or two. We highly recommend!

Ordered orange chicken and it was horrible, but what was worse is the way in which they treated us when I brought it to their attention by calling and asked to either order something else OR refund the order. They said no one ever complains and were beyond rude. They told me they had to see the food before giving a refund or even taking the order to replace it with something different. I returned the food, without replacing with anything as the manager was dismissive and could have cared less that the chicken was nothing but hard batter and broccoli was raw. DISAPPOINTING AND MANAGEMENT IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL – POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced!! Well, they lost my business for good – NO ONE should ever be treated like they are a liar, or like you don’t matter!! TERRIBLE! PS: top it off with some stale fortune cookies ;((

Until this evening we have always had great experience at the restaurant the staff was always friendly and professional, until this evening. We ordered the orange chicken and when we opened it up it was completely disgusting and we lost our appetite. My husband called and said that he was bringing it back up, we have always received chicken from this restaurant and it was never this disgusting. The woman at the front was so rude and disrespectful and said that over 20 years and no one has ever complained except for him. Reading the reviews on this restaurant apparently he is not the only one that has complained. If anyone ever asks what’s the best place to get Chinese food in Hanover we will definitely not recommend and we will not ever come back to this restaurant after this experience.

The staff of this restaurant is amazing. They’re so sweet and if you order often they will remember you. They recently lost their cook so orders are taking longer. But they’re just as delicious. Support a local eatery. They’re amazing people.
