We, the 4 of us, ate the BEST dinner. Their spicy runs from 1-10. We asked them to TRIPLE it. We were NOT disappointed. We will definitely be returning here. And we had Leftovers. Everything from the atmosphere, the service, the table, and the food was OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Be sure to come hungry! We were craving good Chinese and hit the jackpot in the north end with Hong Kong Restaurant. Family dinners are priced per head with a two head minimum. We ordered a two person family dinner at a little over $20 pp and still had a ton to box up after feeding two adults and a child. Standard family style – choice of soup, an app, 4 entrees, and fried rice. Pictured is the number 10 family dinner.

This is my second time coming here, and oh my gosh the food is incredible! Excellent batch of hot and sour soup. Fried rice was very light and the broccoli beef was full of flavor. Always a plus when sliced carrots are included in it. The hot tea is always pleasant no matter what Chinese restaurant I go to. It’s easy to see why this place is popular, as multiple parties came in as I was eating.

The prices are good, the food is fried and staff is friendly. I got the prawns, a little sweet and with a hearty coating they are nice to share. My brother got the spicy Mongolian chicken and it tasted like an elephant ear (from the carnival). The apps are always good.

Asked for the ‘Daily Lunch Special’. Make sure you say $7.25 otherwise they offer a selection and bring you a $14 bill for the ‘All Day Special’. I refused to pay the $14 even though the male ‘boss’? wouldn’t budge. Waitress was nice but the only one working. I gave her $10 and half my leftovers. ‘Boss’ said it was listed ‘right there’- read the board to him-he was rude and wrong. Too many other options to go back here.

Tasty entrees. We were happy with our orders. Our server was friendly and patient. Food arrived in a timely manner piping hot. The restaurant is clean and their bathroom is also maintained. There’s ample parking for everyone.

The egg foo young is delicious! Be aware that if you get chow mein it’s actual chow mein with crispy noodles (not the soft lo mein noodles). I got the lunch combo but it only came with one little piece of egg foo young and loads of chow mein. I think next time I’d rather just pay a few bucks more to get the egg foo young on its own without the combo meal and get loads of egg foo young instead of loads of chow mein.
