The food is excellent. I have been here multiple times and return because of its great food. Been coming here for years since when they were originally in Mountain View before they moved to their current Palo Alto location. The service has always been “ok” not bad not great. The atmosphere/condition of the restaurant looks a little tired and could use a face lift. Ordered some favorites (Crispy HK style Chicken Chow Mein, Braised Tofu with Vegetables, Sweet and Sour Pork, and the Fujian style fried rice.)

I’d do a 2.5 stars if I could. There was nothing good about it and nothing bad. The food came out super fast. The staff barely said a word to us. The beef was soft and didn’t really seem like real beef, but it tasted good, very sugary. The rice was normal. The tea was hot and basic taste. The price is pretty cheap for California standards. Parking sucks there. Honestly, it was exactly middle of 5 stars, I’m not going back, but I wouldn’t tell people not to go there. Try it for yourself.

First I have to say that the older lady that works there is amazing. We always have our kids with us and it’s tricky with a 1 yr old and a 5 yr old to sit still or leave food on the table and not the floor. She always comes by to check up on us or gives our kids little treats to help them stay calm. Sometimes it’s fortune cookies or slices of oranges. The food is good when you see other people around you getting the same thing. I always order the roasted half duck. If you want somewhere to sit down and eat as a family, here it is.

My family has been going here for years. In the most recent visit, I found a big fly in one of the dishes. The server offered to exchange or take it off our bill, which we appreciated. We paid full bill and tips etc as we understand sometimes things just happen and we love this restaurant. Later when the owner walked by, I told her about the fly hoping my feedback would be helpful to the business. She didn’t apologize or anything and simply said “nothing we can do. Sometimes flies just appear” and walked away….I was shocked by her attitude and that she thinks customers should just accept the fact that it’s completely normal to have flies in dishes. We used to recommend this place to everybody but don’t think we will come back anymore.

Very quick service. Food was spectacular. Their soup was amazing and came as a surprise. The beef stew had extremely tender beef with great flavor. The salt and pepper pork ribs were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and could be peeled off the bone easily. Very good restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Good food and flavors. Restaurant is clean and they follow good health practices such as face masks, keeping distance etc. I ordered to go and it was carefully packaged. Size portions are large, prices are affordable and customer service was good and friendly too — I recommend it
