We walked in here for dinner with friends. No time for waiting around 5:15pm. The restaurant looks so clean and smells so good. We love every dish we ordered except 鱼香肉丝 which doesn’t taste authentic. The skin of the roasted duck is crispy but the meat is tender. It tastes so yummy. The vegetables are fresh and meat tastes very tender flavorful. Not salty which is good for kids.

It’s hard to find a spot at peak times, we parked along the road in the community that is next to the restaurant. Strongly recommend it!

We live quite close to them and been seeing tons of people coming. I bought a wanton soup take out just once and not a fan… but then I am really curios to try my 3 traditional Chinese food probably it would be a different experience. I am glad I did and it’s like the kind of food I grew up with back home so delicious and flavorful. The service not that good but I am a person who focus more on the product. Oh wow I know why this place is so popular and the prices so affordable. I only experienced these kind of delicious food in upscale Chinese restaurant. The temperature, portion, presentation overall excellent. It’s just delicious and flavorful food… I ate a lot and now we don’t need to go to San Francisco to have these experiences… they right here in our neighborhood. We had regular fried chicken, broccoli beef and beef chowfun…

The beef is very sad in the beef tomato noodle. They use to use thick tender beef. This beef is thin and chewy.

Dinner no longer comes with soup and dessert. They do give you a couple pieces of orange

Roast duck noodle and added wonton. Only half of the wonton has shrimp in it. The duck was mostly bone. We won’t get again

Decent chinese restaurant.

Peking rib is the best. Seafood chow fun is decent. The Black bean sauce fish rice plate can have more fish.

They serve house soup before meal, and have oranges at end of meals but I miss their chinese dessert.

Services is decent too.

Great spot to experience authentic Cantonese Chinese dishes. Relatively reasonably priced. Even though the atmosphere is not super luxurious and the service isn’t super attentive, the delicious food more than makes up for these minor shortcomings. Every dish we got was fantastic and the food came out pretty quickly. Easy to grab a table on a Monday night for dinner and plenty of space in the dining room.

The food is excellent. I have been here multiple times and return because of its great food. Been coming here for years since when they were originally in Mountain View before they moved to their current Palo Alto location. The service has always been “ok” not bad not great. The atmosphere/condition of the restaurant looks a little tired and could use a face lift. Ordered some favorites (Crispy HK style Chicken Chow Mein, Braised Tofu with Vegetables, Sweet and Sour Pork, and the Fujian style fried rice.)

Great place for a large group meal! It got a little loud in the restaurant as it filled up but it was no louder than a typical Cantonese restaurant during dim sum. The menu is extensive and worth browsing through before you get to the restaurant if you have young kids.

Nice local spot in Palo Alto! Came here after work because a friend recommended it—she used to pick up takeout here all the time.

Must-try:
• Pan-fried lotus root with shrimp paste—crispy outside, juicy inside
• Soy sauce chicken & roast duck—super tender
• Black pepper beef with Japanese tofu—flavorful and perfect with veggies
• Vermicelli pot—tastes like stir-fried noodles with fish roe and egg, very unique!

Portions are big, prices are great for the area (~$20 for beef), and the staff is super friendly. Street or back parking available.

Spacious! Authentic Hong Kong food!
The staff here are all so friendly and helpful. Such a hidden gem.
Took a picture of the menu at home, so it can help others to see what they offer! Lots of choices.

Foods are very good with very reasonably prices. But very limited parking lots. Most of people parked in the near by neighborhood or ordered to go. The restaurant space is relatively small compare to the amount of people. Very noisy inside. I would recommend to order to go as their foods are ready good.
