Chinese basics, hibachi meats & wings are menu staples at this casual joint in a strip–mall setting.

I recently placed a party order with Hongkong Restaurant, and they provided excellent customer service, high-quality food, and delicious flavors. Everything was amazing — the dishes were a hit and disappeared in no time! Everyone really enjoyed the meal.
We ordered Broccoli Beef, Seafood Delight, Kung Pao Chicken, Singapore Noodles, and Hot & Sour Soup — all were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
We’ll definitely order from them again!

As (yet another) North East transplant I will def be coming back. tried so many places around and they have all been bad. Hong Kong hit just like it needed to. It’s not perfect but when you want that northeast style take out Chinese it hits the spot just right. Lo mein was good, rangoons good, spareribs really good!

It was a greasy mess…the fried dumplings, the spring roll, the egg roll, and the chicken and broccoli combo were nasty! Won’t be back.

I am sooo fussy about Chinese food. Actually I don’t even usually love it. I also have diet restrictions. Let me just say, I am so happy to have discovered this place. My husband mentioned the “diet” menu that they have… that perhaps I might like it. I got the shrimp, scallops and chicken with vegetables. The sauce was on the side so I didn’t have to have this amazing fresh food drowning in it. Absolutely delicious and I am now obsessed. Also very friendly and seemingly family run. (Um… there are nearby Chinese restaurants where they are not at all friendly.)
You are going to see us a lot here!

They changed the owner, and the food quality and taste have gone down a lot. It’s not the same old Hong Kong restaurant anymore. Today, I even found out they charged me more than what was listed on the menu. They also charge customers 3% more for using a credit card. What a disappointing experience now. It used to be our favorite Chinese takeout, but sadly, everything has gone in the wrong direction after changing the owner. I recommend you check each item price before using your credit card. They did not list the details of your food items. You will be surprised at how much more they charged you.

I ordered shrimp broccoli. The shrimp smelled as if they were going bad, and the dish was dry. The customer service was good. I won’t recommend.

Yeah, I knew they changed hands before I actually heard. The food has really gone downhill. We realized it at first when the chicken wings were suddenly MUCH smaller. A month ago, I got egg foo young, it was sitting in a huge pool of oil and the oil was bitter like it was being re-used for a long time. I pressed the egg foo young in tons of paper towels, but the sauce was so awful I threw the entire thing out. What a waste. This time (about a month later) I ordered moo shu pork. I’ve ordered both of these dishes multiple times. The moo shu wasn’t very flavorful and the veggies were all soft, not even the cabbage was crunchy…it was a pile of soft mush. We used to come in once a week, but I think we’re going to need to find another place.

Hong Kong Chinese has the very BEST Hunan Shrimp I have ever had. And I have traveled to CO, TX, FL, MN and Europe. They turn over orders SO fast in their small kitchen. I suggest you take it home, to work, or a picnic table. No atmosphere. No room to diners. Very unsettling if you are accustomed to fine cuisine and a tidy spacious dining area. BUT THE FOOD……Is the best in the Triangle. Blessings little Hong Kong! Prices are very reasonable.

Finally a Chinese restaurant that can make real fried rice like in New York. Loved the Boneless spare ribs and the LoMein was very tasty. On my list as a place not to miss. Really can only take out, but after being in Wake County 4 years and no real tasty Chinese, finally was so happy to land here. I would recommend them highly for take-out

This is exactly what you’d expect from a good, neighborhood Chinese food place. They still have the kitchen area quarantined off, but the small seating space is nice. The food came out quickly and exceeded my expectations. Sweet and sour sauce is different than I’m used to, but everything else was perfect.
