I haven’t eaten there in over 20 years. I went there every week, sometimes twice. Food was always cooked to order and fresh and tasteful. Since I have moved back home, I have wanted to go back and take my wife as she is generally a pickle eater. She loved it. Ordered the hibachi shrimp and I got chicken chow main. She was so impressed that we going back again today. Prices are higher than I remember, lol, but the food was awesome. The little cook and woman sounding like their arguing is just like I remember. We love the place.

This place is what I’d call a little hole in the wall. It had limited seating with mostly takeout service. We had General Tsao (mild), fried rice and House Lo Mein. Everything was served hot. The General Tsao had good flavor but the chicken was dry. The fried rice was average. The House Lo Mein was the best dish.

I try and support local business but I get tired of people who can’t run their own business but still expect customers. Today I came to HK to buy a large to go order . I checked online and it says they are open at 11. I drove to the location where there was a yes we are open sign and posted hours of 11to 9 . It was 11:40 and the place was deserted. I can understand if the hours on goggle are different but at least take down the sign on your front door and replace it with an accurate one . It takes 5 seconds to do and it will save customers for your future.

Best Chinese food in the area. Been coming here for more than 10 years and it never disappoints. Lots of food for the price and the owners are super nice people. Food is always good and so delicious. We drive 20 mins just to come and get our Chinese food craving satisfied. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in on the way home looking for wontons. The plate tasted like oil. That is the only flavor it had .. never again. And it sure does look like a back room spot. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN IF YOU DESPERATE

Terrible. I ordered a simple pork fried rice with chicken wings. The rice was already cooked and looked really pale/yellowish (barely any soy sauce). I couldn’t find a single piece of pork in the rice. Now as far as the wings, it was worse than the rice! I’ve never seen such brown wings! They looked burned and were super greasy. Terrible tase to it and expensive. By the way, they charge .25 for chopsticks and .15 for the fortune cookies. I’ve never been to a Chinese restaurant where they charge you for the fortune cookies . I will never stop nor recommend this restaurant to anyone!

What other Chinese Restaurant can you say has been opened more than 25 years? Ive only always had good food from here. Never had a bad experience. I recommend take-out but if you stay, be patient because the inside has not been updated since the 90’s but don’t let that stop you from trying this Nice Family owned restaurant with great mouth-watering food. All the food is great but the wontons, honey chicken, lo mein, fried rice, and wor shu gui is absolutely phenomenal. That honey chicken tho I would pay for that recipe.

We just ordered a large to go order and the food is the worst I’ve ever had. Everything was greasy and no flavor except sugar, our place in Lenoir was closed and I definitely learned my lesson and will just wait on them. Don’t waste your money!

The place looks like something from the backrooms if you understand that. The food tastes like straight vegetable oil, meat included. I threw mine 27.00 order away after tasting and seeing how the inside looks. I paid I just hate I wasted that money

To be honest, it looks like a Old Mom and Pop’s diner but the food was delicious. I mean out of the Chinese food that I have ever ordered. This has been the best that I have tasted OK clean so clean the people so nice. I advise you to go here and eat if you like Chinese food or I know they sell other stuff too, but God bless you all and have a wonderful day
