We have been eating here for over 6 years. There may have been something that wasn’t perfect a time or two but like tonight most times it was awesome. Only complaint. They changed their deep Fried shrimp to Breaded shrimp which just aren’t good. But do not mistake the food rocks

The food was straight ️ I have never seen such a lack of love for food. I ordered one of the combos and wanted to sub the rice for noodles and that came at a 3$ charge which I had no problem paying, then it arrives to the table and my plate has a big lump of plain noodles with no veg or anything, it literally was like they boiled 2 packs of Mr noodles with 5 drops of soy sauce and put on my plate. The chicken wings were decent but the chop suey was way below par and I’m pretty sure the chicken wasn’t fully cooked it, it was rubbery raw texture and looked pink to me. The FOH guy assured me that they boil it and then cook again so maybe I’m in my head but I’ll post pictures anyway so you can judge for yourself. The one good thing about the meal was the egg rolls, they were decent. At the end of the experience the FOH guy deducted money although I told him not to as it changes nothing, money is not what I’m after and all I was proper food. I tipped 0 and paid 30 ish dollars for 3 people to barely eat their plates. The inside has seen better days and the food could use a lot of work. This place should just stop and close up shop, seems like their best days are long gone.

We ordered Hong Kong House on Uber Eats and it was absolutely horrible. The Uber Eats reviews were good, which is why we ended up ordering from here. After ordering I checked the Google reviews and wish I had done that sooner. They were all terrible and true.
What everyone says about the food being stale and bland is 100 percent accurate. The lemon chicken was not even edible. It tasted like it was made 3 days ago and reheated in a microwave. I couldn’t even bite into it.
The fried rice was gross. Bland and also tasted like it might have been made days before and frequently reheated.
If this is their standard of food service then I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen. Makes me not only question the quality and care they put in, but also their food safety standards. People could get sick from this.
Thankfully we were fully refunded since we ordered from Uber. Do yourself a favour and don’t order from here.
& lesson learned check Google reviews before ordering off of Uber Eats!!

If I could give zero stars, I would do it this place used to have delicious food. My family ordered from them over and over again not once have they ever even offered a 10% discount to longtime customers who spend close to $100 every time they orderseveral times a month.

The owners response was if we don’t like it we don’t order In the new year, so the whole $70 purchase is wasted with food that we can’t even eat. Every single meal was Rushed flavourless and disgusting very disappointing from a place that we have been ordering from the last five years and our only complaint was this one and this is how we were treated
Obviously, they care nothing about customer service. They are cheap and ignorant.

Decent lunch special for $8.95. Lots of bok choy and broccoli cooked well and still toothsome. Rice a little bland and dry. Sweet and sour pork (not spareribs) was a little tough and could have used more sauce. Not bad for the price. My wife and son weren’t amused to find a black hair in each of their meals (and none of us have black hair).

I have ordered from here for years but tonight the food was horrendous. The food was lacking its proper flavour and had an off taste. I ordered sweet and sour chicken that was over cooked and dried out.The chicken balls were hard enough to knock a tooth out. See attached pic. The chicken is suppose to be where the finger is pointing. I called the restaurant and the apparent cook claimed there was no way anything could have been over cooked and refused to offer a resolution to the problem. I bought this food for my family and now I’m forced to throw it out.

Not the first time I had it, but the third… last two times was NYE, this time I dined in. The food was AMAZING! It was reasonable, portions were large and tasty! I wasn’t sure what to get but ANYTHING would have been good! I ordered Lunch Special E… I usually have a big appetite and it filled me up! It was quiet inside so you won’t have to scream or shout to be heard and parking is pretty good

I’ve been going to a Chinese restaurant near my house lately, which is super tasty, but I remembered the savory Beef and Broccoli from HKH that I had in June and decided to return.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement. My family has eaten here for years and I’ve never received such bland, tasteless food.
The beef and broccoli use to be filled to the brim with sauce. The meat use to be juicy and drool worthy, this time, barely edible.
I also got an order of lemon chicken and it was hard, and dry. It tastes like it was cooked yesterday and left on the counter.
If I had written a review in June in would have been a 5 star, no questions asked, but this time I’m struggling to even give it two stars.
Not sure if it’s a new owner, a new chef or maybe just a one-off fluke, but I don’t think I’ll be returning again.
I will say, the man who took my order and was working the front counter was polite and the price was decent. Only reason I’m leaving 2 stars
If the rating was just on the food I received, it would be a zero star review.
For anyone reading this still and looking for good Chinese food, I recommend China Wok on Stevenson. I will continue to be a loyal customer to them in the future.

Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve had to this date or pretty close too. Bland and tasteless for the most part. It’s a lot of money if you plan on getting a full out meal, so consider other places to save potential disappointment. I’ve had better out the mall. You may get lucky though.
