Stopped by Hong Kong Express in Springfield and it really hit the spot. This is classic Chinese takeout comfort food, generous portions, solid flavors, and quick service. The shrimp lo mein was tasty and filling, with tender shrimp and noodles cooked just right. The chicken with glass noodles was flavorful, especially with The hot and sour soup was so good the pork was incredibly soft and tender, making every bite delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the meal! The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, crispy pieces with a bright, tangy sauce that was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too heavy. Everything tasted fresh, was packaged well for takeout, and portion sizes were great for sharing (or leftovers ). This is the kind of place you go to when you want something warm, familiar, and satisfying. Classic quick Chinese food. This place is your standard go to when you need a quick Chinese pick-me-up. I ordered the pork fried rice and it was very good and prepared in under 10 minutes. The rice and pork were perfectly cooked and the flavor reminded me of all classic Chinese cuisine. I enjoy that the restaurant is quiet and has ample seating. The service was fast and the interactions with the staff were friendly. I look forward to trying other dishes here.

I really wanted to like this place since I love Chinese food, but this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.
The food was straight-up bad. The chicken was tough and overcooked in spots, the veggies were soggy, and nothing had that fresh, savory taste you expect from decent Chinese takeout or dine-in. Portions felt small for the price too – felt ripped off paying what we did for such low-quality meals.
Worse than the food was the customer service. The staff was rude and dismissive from the moment we walked in. Orders were messed up, no apologies, and when we tried to point out issues, we got attitude or ignored.

This is one of my favorite places to get some quick Chinese takeout in the area not because it is amazing the food is pretty standard Chinese takeout, but the staff is friendly, the serving size is good and price is reasonable. We’ve been getting take out from here since the pandemic started. The take out is always great and the service is always friendly.The fried dumplings and Singapore fried rice are delicious. My son loves the kung Pao tofu.

Ordered from Uber. Food quality was grease that had a chew. Fried dumpling filing was under cooked. For spending over $100 we certainly will not be ordering from here again.
Of what was edible it was the ketchup of American Chinese food. Spring rolls were mush, egg roll was chewy oil, “spicy” general tso’s was less spicy than gochujang, some how the packets of mustard had no taste, fried rice was more boring and homemade white rice, and orange chicken was just disappointing. If you’re used to those old buffets that only seem to exist in small towns in the south you’ll enjoy this I’m sure, otherwise don’t bother.
I’ll have to swing by taco bell later to get the taste out of my mouth.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. There was no actual chicken meat in the orange chicken- chewy cartilage taste to it. Dumplings resembled dog meat. I grew up in Ravensworth & home visiting family. Ordered there because of convenience. Will never ever get food there again. Complete waste of money.
