I had such a great experience at Hong Kong Express Chinese Restaurant! The food is absolutely packed with flavor — I tried the delicious orange chicken, the unique and spicy teriyaki chicken, and the tasty kung pao chicken. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions are incredibly generous for the price — they really fill up the to-go boxes, so you definitely get your money’s worth. On top of that, the service was excellent, fast, and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back, often.

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had so far. Everything I got was AMAZING. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. Great portions. Great customer service, the lady that helped me was super sweet :). I got the teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and rice. Can’t wait to try more items now .

Best Chinese food in Long Beach.. As other reviews have said, the owner is the best. She is so caring, admirable, and genuine. The food is amazing, and portions are large. There was very little fat, the quality of the meat was great. Usually, I can’t finish 1/3 of a plate, and by myself, I finished well over half. The business is in a small and quiet parking lot off of magnolia on 7th street, to your left hand side. This place is awesome. So happy I found this spot. Thank you!!!

The food is great and very well priced. Try the teriyaki chicken (my picture doesn’t do it justice), it’s awesome. Along with the fried rice, that’s my fav. Just moved to the neighborhood, decided to try this place. I can honestly say this was the best takeout experience of my life.
The food was incredible. I got beef & broccoli, spicy chicken teriyaki, and chow mein. HUGE portions of all three and all three were EXACTLY what I crave when I crave this style of Chinese food. So good!
The attached pic is what was left after I already ate as much as I physically could! And it only cost 9.75!!
I also got to talking with the owner a little and she couldn’t have been nicer. She made me feel like a regular even though I just got here. It’s cash only and if ya don’t tip, you’re gonna answer to me!

This place is absolutely delicious. The red spicy chicken is insanely hot and full of flavor. I was warned that it was hot but as a Mexican who loves spicy food, I had to try it and my face literally turned red, to the point where even my tears felt like they were on fire. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for top quality food!!!!

I love it here. My wife and I are always talking to the owner. She’s very friendly. The food is made fresh in portions for the day. Not only is It cheap but you get more than your money’s worth here. I don’t go to any other Chinese fast food place other than here. I’m just patiently waiting for her to come back from so I can buy some more. She should be back somewhere around August 2024 for those wondering why it’s been closed since late June, she went in vacation. I’ve been counting down the days. I’ve even asked my wife to check to see if maybe she’s there today lol. It’s that good
