A good visit to Hong Kong Express. The food plates were nicely presented, with generous portions, served hot, and great taste.
However, there were two cons to the visit. Our soups arrived at the table a few minutes after our entrees arrived. We would have liked to enjoy the soup before the entree. The second con was that the fountain soda machine was broke again. Either that, or it hasn’t been repaired since our last visit, two months ago. We ordered bottled soda instead.
Otherwise it was a very good visit to Hong Kong Express.

This is an acceptable economical Chinese restaurant. Some plates are better than others, but it hits the spot and I prefer this than a panda Express meal for sure. The ladies were super nice and got my food rather quick. I think it’s a great value option.

They have a great lunch menu with incredible prices. Way better than Panda Express in my opinion. Whether I dine in or order to go they’re usually super fast. Wife and kids enjoy food here much more than other fast food chinese places. Give it a try, I dont think you’ll be disappointed.

The food is really good. With generous portions. But don’t bother asking for extra hot mustard or soy sauce to be delivered with your food. You will not get it. In fact you will get less than usual.

I ordered the shrimp egg foo young with shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. The food was served hot, which I appreciated—but a bit on the pricier side and overall, it was incredibly mid. Nothing stood out in flavor, and the portions didn’t make up for the lack of taste or cost.
Unfortunately, the service was even more disappointing. The staff didn’t seem welcoming or kind, and the lack of hospitality definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. With so many great local options, I won’t be returning.

We got Chicken stir fry with broccoli, vegetable lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken with the sides being fried rice and eggrolls.
Everything was delious and arrived sooner than expected! The eggrolls are more like spring rolls, but just as delicious if not better. The portions are large and everything was cooked well.
EDIT: If you are looking for “traditional” fried chicken this place does it a little different. I like it personally because I feel I get more chicken per order, but other people may like it a different way or ways they have had it from other places.

So anyone who is smart and savvy would swing by this place for their lunch specials which starts at $6.49, $6.99 sesame chicken, beef broccoli etc. Big potions, hot and excellent deals! Now they didn’t have a vegetarian lunch special for a good price, but why focus on the negative, maybe management can see this post and create some for vegetarian customers to get more busy on that end. But, do try this place for their lunch specials, that will give you a good idea one what you’d like to comeback for dinner.
