The food here is outstanding. I can easily compare it to good Chinese food you can get in New York City (that’s saying a lot if you’ve been to the Big Apple). The thing that distinguishes it is that they make a lot of their own sauces, and make their eggrolls and wontons in-house with pretty amazing recipes (this is outstanding because usually the more cookie-cutter Chinese spots get pre-made/canned sauces and frozen eggrolls and wontons).
The first dish I tried here was the General Tso’s Chicken, just to kind of get a feel for what they were working with. I was blown away at the portion for the price ($8 for a full combo meal), the flavor, and just how quickly it was cooked, even though it was so tasty! It came with a crab wonton that was phenomenal, and an eggroll that I wished I would’ve gotten seven more of.
The service was awesome because there is a couple that runs this place that seemed pretty great. They were both super cheerful and it was just a good time to be there even as short as I was there just picking up my food. Definitely going back, definitely excited to tip them large again—they really deserved it!
As far as the atmosphere, pretty sure people don’t go here to dine in very much, although you could. There are a couple of tables. But if you do, be sure to bring your jacket, the dining area is so small and so close to the front door that it does get pretty cool when new people walk in during the winter time. If dining in is your only option, like I said, just bring your jacket; imo the food and the service will definitely warm you up!
I ate my food too fast to remember to take a picture, so I will try to remember to edit this next time I go with a picture of whatever I get that time.
Definitely traveling back up to Jackson for this place anytime I’m back in Milwaukee!

Food is always great, I love their chicken fried rice. It doesn’t have carrots or peas which is nice. Once I was there, a man dropped his food and she replaced it at no charge. Overall great!

Got the sesame chicken combo plate – delicious and tons of food for only $7! With a side of shrimp fried rice = leftovers for sure. Food was hot and fresh too and made very quickly! Will definitely be back here. Highly recommend them if you’re in the area and craving some Chinese food!

Absolute top tier shrimp fried rice. Every time I go past Jackson I HAVE to stop here to get a large shrimp fried rice, which is the real deal with perfectly seared rice, bean sprouts, green onions, eggs…everything that’s supposed to be there and cooked masterfully. Not all fried rice is the same, this is the real stuff with wok hei, not the fake steamed stuff with peas and carrots that other places sell as “fried rice”. The lady who runs the place is so nice as well. Easy five stars.

Very good!!!!! We now like this place better then that other place in town that reduced the sizes of (everything)!! Hot’ n sour soup was spicy!!!! yum!!! Really opened up the sinuses!!! vegetables were SUPER fresh!!! Wife liked the chicken. The fried dumplings could use a lot less dough!!! But overall awesome!!! Tons of leftovers!!!! We will definitely order here again!!! Super friendly too!!!!
