This is some of the best food in the city of Milwaukee. Had me drive across town pregnant during rush hour just to get some. Yeah there’s a bit of a wait but that’s because they keep it fresh. Love this place

Food was delicious and fresh. Will be back again. Service was pleasant. Added on lemonade at the window with no problem.

The food is terrible!!! Tried to call but they didn’t answer! Would not recommend at all!!
The picture is of my sweet and sour shrimp! Batter was overcooked and this is all the shrimp there was. The other meal was so salty we couldn’t eat it!!!

More than half of the shrimp in lobster sauce spilled bc they placed the food in a flip top to go box. They placed it on top of all my food so it was tilted the whole time in the bag. Makes no dam sense as they packed my fried rice and noodles in a soup container.

The Ham Fried Rice was great, and the Seasame Chicken was a little sweet for me, and I didnt see and sesame seeds – but I’d still eat it again!

Easy in and out of the lot

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and fried chicken. The rice was bland, old and not good. There weren’t many shrimps or vegetables in the rice. The chicken was old, hard and not good. I won’t be ordering from this establishment again. I wouldn’t recommend Hong Kong Express to anyone.

This location used to be Wong’s Wok, but unfortunately, the food here now is terrible for a Chinese express-style restaurant. Honestly, if you’re going to run a Chinese place, at least take some pride in the cooking and the dishes you serve. The pre-made food looks unappealing and tastes downright disappointing.
I know many people may not realize the difference, which is probably what keeps this place going, but if you want real quality, there are far better options nearby — Mai Café, Touch of Hunan, or Mong-Teng all serve food that’s miles ahead of this spot.
Until the cooks here get back to their roots and start putting out authentic, well-prepared Chinese food again, I won’t be coming back.
