Great food and a beautiful ocean view. Comfortable seating, reasonable prices, and plenty of parking. Excellent location right off the freeway. The staff was friendly, communicated well, and responded quickly. However, some equipment needs repair — the microphone and TV only worked about half the time. I hope these issues are fixed next time we visit

One of the family favorite for dim sum in Emeryville, California!

The food is out of this world but the view from the restaurant is even better. You can see San Francisco Bay including the Golden Gate Bridge.

We ordered from Steamed Pork Buns to Jelly Fish to different steamed dumplings to steamed pork ribs and the list goes on. Technically we allow the elders pick everything; we have no say into it but just eat and try what they order. If you know you know

Our server was abruptly rude every time we would ask him for something he completely ignored us. I can’t recall the name I might be wrong but I think it was Joseph. He was like the manager or assistant manager.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This restaurant was a gem, the atmosphere is quite good, can literally see Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge. Too bad that we don’t get the table next to window despite of booked ahead. Overall the foods are great, from fish to lobster, noodles, soup and Peking duck. They are very delicious, great place to catch up with friends and family!

Not great, not terrible. This place has been here for a long time but I believe the restaurant changed ownership not too long ago. That said, this restaurant is usually busy (and a bit chaotic) especially during the weekend brunch hours where folks come in for dim sum. There are water views from tables if you are close to the windows. The dim-sum menu is large, and the quality is mid to ok in my opinion. If I was management, I would consider a quality waste dumpster enclosure if you can’t relocate the dumpster from its current location.

Dim sum at this place after so many years. It still very good. Simple but not spicy even though the menu says so. Dim sum was very good. The restaurant was crowded at lunch time

Much to my disappointment, this wasn’t the best dim sum — honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had such bland food. We ordered several dishes and didn’t enjoy a single one. Even my four-year-old, who usually loves anything that comes in a cute little steamer basket, looked at me and said, “Mama… this is not tasty.” That pretty much says it all. On top of that, the service was painfully slow, like they were steaming the food one grain of rice at a time. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I enjoyed a dinner alone during a work trip. The service was a little bit slow, they seemed a little short-staffed for what was a busy Thursday night. They are a seafood place with a lot of options but it seems what they are especially known for is having live fish on the premises. When you order your meal, they bring the fish to you in a bucket for you to inspect. Frankly, it’s a little weird. I felt like Caesar giving the fish the thumbs down for his execution. Either that or he was going to say: “Hi. My name is Bob. I’ll be your dinner. Eat me.” I enjoyed steamed black cod with seafood hot and sour soup. Both were excellent.
It should be noted that the restaurant sits on a small little inlet on the East Bay giving it a beautiful view of sunset over the bay with the San Francisco bridge in the distance if it’s a clear day.
I look forward to visiting again on my next trip.

I saw the photo of the one pot dinner on their website’s promotion, then decided to order the 10 people portion. When I got home heated it ip for dinner, then found both pots were missing one of the main ingredients: prawns/Shrimps.
How could they made that kind of mistake! The shrimps in this kind of pot dinner symbolize Happiness, and our sinner was missing the “happiness”.
By the way, the scallops and abalone were not tender enough, and they should replace the clams with white radish, which is the tradition ingredient in a pot dinner.
We had high hope on this restaurant with good reputation, turned out this pot dinner was a disappointment!

I’ve been coming to this dim sum spot since my early college days in 2008, and all these years later, it still delivers. The quality of the dim sum is excellent — you can taste the freshness and the care that goes into every bite. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers beautiful views of the bay, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Service is quick and efficient, and during our recent weekday lunch, everything came out hot and delicious. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such consistency over the years. A true gem for dim sum lovers — highly recommended!
