EDIT: They called me and attempted to replace the dish for me with the lo mein. Due to it being a far drive I declined, but I do appreciate the effort from this restaurant and have changed my rating from one star to three in order to reflect their intent to correct.

My boyfriend and I really wanted some chow mein and there arent many good Chinese places near us, so we ordered takeout from here. They were quick and friendly both on the phone and in person. Drove all the way to the village of clarkston and picked it up, got home and discovered that there.. were no noodles. My chow mein was just a pile of vegetables sitting in a clear sauce. It came with wonton crisps and a side of rice, but not a single noodle was in my noodle dish.
We ate maybe two or three bites, threw it out, and ordered our noodles elsewhere. Flavor was fine, but literally so far from being chow mein it wasnt even comparable. Not sure if theyre trying to say the wonton crisps are the “crispy noodles” or what, but regardless of the situation I’m extremely disappointed in what i received and will not be coming back. For a first-timer who drove 40 minutes for a takeout box of dissatisfaction, this was an extremely bad first impression that they will not get the chance to fix.
Don’t go here if you want your noodles to be…well… noodles.

Delicious food every time! We ordered the crab rangoons and shrimp lo mein this visit, and both were excellent. The rangoons were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and the shrimp lo mein was fresh, savory, and very satisfying. Definitely a go-to spot when we’re craving Chinese food. Would happily order again

Our food was good!
I had the sweet & sour chicken with vegetable fried rice and my wife had the almond boneless chicken with fried rice.

While I agree with some comments that their “fried rice” is not the most “fried” to the level that you see at other places, the quality of the food overall was good.

We both enjoyed our food and thought this to have been one of the better Chinese food experiences we have had in the past!

We will come back.
Thank you

Awful food. I got the sesame chicken combo. The egg roll was just cabbage inside. The wrapper was hard crust with no chew to it. The fried rice was not fried. It was too wet with water and no oil or flavor. The sesame chicken was super small niblets that were tough to chew and the sauce was just sweet and sour with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. No browning or caramelizing. Just red, sweet and sour. Gross. My guts feel terrible. I’ll never go back.

I’ve been getting food here since 2010. I will forever be loyal to this establishment. It’s by far the best in the area. Chinese food, not Japanese so don’t expect sushi. Wonton soup comes with 10 wontons, crab Rangoon’s top tier.

I’m sorry, but the cow that died to make my broccoli and beef dinner deserved better than this.

The food was flavorless and if it wasn’t flavorless it tasted like chemicals or metal.

Avoid at all costs, the white rice was good but the meats were so bad I actually couldn’t stomach it.

I love the food. It was so delicious and the Lomein and dumpling was delicious as well. I drive 25 minutes to eat here. You know I’m passing up a million other places. I don’t mind the drive because the food is good.
