March,5 2026. I am extremely disturbed and disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. I came here expecting a clean and safe place to eat, but what I witnessed was completely unacceptable and a serious health concern.
When I approached the counter to order, the employees were constantly on their phones and barely paying attention to customers. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful. While waiting, I noticed a woman in the back preparing crab rangoon without wearing gloves. She then walked to the register with her hands still covered in flour and food, took an order from the customer behind me, handled their cash and gave them change, and immediately returned to preparing food without washing her hands or putting on gloves.
This is already a major violation of basic food safety and hygiene.
Unfortunately, it got even worse. I ordered crab rangoon, and after taking a few bites I noticed mold and small insects inside the food. Realizing what I had just eaten made me feel physically sick to my stomach. No customer should ever have to experience something like this.
After telling my family and friends about what happened, one of them told me they had stopped going to this restaurant because of how rude the staff are and because of the poor cleanliness. That says a lot about the reputation of this place.
I am deeply concerned for the health and safety of anyone who eats here. The conditions I witnessed are completely unacceptable for any food establishment. A place operating like this should be seriously inspected, and if these issues are confirmed, it should either be under new management or shut down before more people get sick.
I will never return, and I strongly encourage health authorities to investigate this location immediately.

This location has top service, great packaging, excellent food. Will be a regular and we thank you. NEVER had this good of food anywhere like this.

The people that eork here are nice and the food is always good and quick. I heard they got shut fown for sanitary reasons so i havent went back but before i found that out i liked to eat there. Hope they get the problem fixed.

On 13 JAN 26/ 1:39 PM, the young lady working the counter was incredibly rude……again, she is always that way. The first time I assumed she was having a bad day, but she is that way every time. She lacks the skills necessary to work the front desk……the skills that make customers want to come back. She is NOT an asset to Hong Kong Chinese REST, and can use a lot of training.

This has always been my go to spot for Chinese food, was the best around. Yesterday i ordered the same thing i get every week and it was horrible. I stopped to get gas and threw it away and could not eat it. I called today to see if they changed sauces or cooks and they told me that i need to go find what I threw out at the gas station and bring it to them to refund or exchange the order. Sad that this will be the last time going here. I thought it would help if they had switched sauces or had a bad sauce by letting them know, but they don’t care.

First time ever trying this place and it’s great. Awesome food at an affordable price and like many other Chinese takeout places, large portions. They’ve recently moved into a new location and the place is kept immaculate. Very clean and modern look.

11/28/25. Went there again this evening. We split the large sesame chicken with egg fried rice and several pieces of broccoli and got 2 egg rolls. Everything was very good, fresh and hot. We are both fairly good eaters and still had enough for 1 more meal for one of us. Will definitely go back.
Had not eaten there in several years. Was really good and very hot. Everything was freshly made. I had sesame chicken and husband had chicken and mixed vegetables. Had more than enough to eat and brought some home. Will go again.
