This was my number 1 place to get Chinese Takeout until I became a vegetarian. They have a small vegetarian menu but it is very small and there’s no description of what each meal contains. However, if you are a meat eater this is the best in the North Dinwiddie area. Their dumplings are good but their dumpling dipping sauce is AMAZING! I was always up for their chicken meals and boneless spare ribs. Their Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls are also a good bet for your picky eaters. If they can add some additional Bean Curd options, such as substituting Bean Curd for chicken, it would definitely become my #1 Chinese food restaurant again.

Very affordable, extremely delicious, authentic Chinese Food. The portions were perfect for the price. The Garlic Chicken Wings were exceptionally good and will order that again. Not impressed with the eggroll, the dough inside was kind of raw, and not crisp enough. The flavor of the wok comes through in the dishes, especially the fried rice. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and would recommend this place.

This has been my go-to Chinese takeout joint in Petersburg for over ten years now. They’ve been a consistently reliable source of quality Cantonese cuisine and I’ve always found the prices and portions to be more than fair.

Their commitment to customer service is evident. When a minor mistake was made with one of our Sweet and Sour orders, they called and made us aware of it before we even noticed.

The cash-only policy can be a bit inconvenient at times and may catch some off guard. It’s also a major bummer that they had to ditch their lunch buffet. But, the REAL bummer is Covid-19, which they take very seriously, and have to commend them on that.

My favorite dish is their Bourbon Chicken. It’s glossy ‘n’ saucy and is rich with incredible flavor. Highly recommended!

Dinner delivered, found shrimp in the plain fried rice after we were eating it and we have shellfish allergy, I called the restaurant, spoke with the manager did not even get an apology, all he said was we have been busy today! Hopefully we don’t go into anaphylactic shock and end up in the hospital. They did not even care, asked me if we could bring it back to them, no we paid for delivery and might have to go to the hospital, did not offer any empathy at all for their mistake! Beware if you order food here, they will give you whatever they want without concern rather than what you ordered and if you have an allergy could be a life threatening event!

I’ve always have enjoyed my meals from HKC. The meals are always fresh tasting and hot. The last meal from there was not so great. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein and the sauce was tasteless and way to thick, all Corn Starch. I hope this is not going to be the new normal there. These Employees won’t answer the phone so you can’t place an order. They have lost my business.

Food is good and always ready fast. Lunch buffet is okay, but they only make small amounts of each item at a time, so you often have to wait a few minutes if
something you want is out. (I think they do this so that they don’t have a large amount of leftovers) The good thing is that if you don’t see a particular item you want (if container is empty), all you have to do is ask and they’ll cook some more.
