We saw other reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. My wife loves Peanut Butter Chicken and the reviews said it was good here. She wholeheartedly agrees with those reviews. I enjoy just about anything so when I saw the number of choices with seafood I was delighted. I sampled almost every dish on the buffet. The only thing I was not impressed with was the beef with broccoli. The Cajun seafood boil was absolutely delicious. There were at least 6 different shrimp choices along with multiple fish choices. The house Chicken was by far my favorite. The flavor was incredible. The hot & sour soup was also above par. We will definitely be back. Did i mention the staff? Super friendly and attentive. Drinks were never empty and each time you went back up to the buffet your old plate was gone before you got back to the table. Pretty good since they were crowded with the after church families.

Came here around noon, food was amazing. It was hot and fresh and they kept the buffet fully stocked. I really liked their wings they were crispy and very well seasoned. My wife enjoyed the fried rice and all the different options to choose from. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our plates cleared and our drinks filled. The fresh fruit was great and the fortune cookie was delicious. 10/10 will definitely come back && absolutely recommend.

I would zero star them if I could, serving raw chicken on a stick. We went in got our drink and got our plates, my son eats their precooked chicken nuggets so he is good, I grab my usual green beans and chicken on a stick I ate my small serving of green beans then went to go eat my chicken I bit into it and it was so raw it was still bloody. My boyfriend didn’t even get through his small plate of food maybe 2-3 bites in they still tried to make us pay for all 3 plates I told them I’m paying for my sons plate because he was already almost done with his nuggets and all 3 drinks but that was it, and that’s exactly what I did. I already called the health department. Seriously if I could zero stars them I absolutely would.

I love the food there and it has a nice atmosphere. My son takes me to eat there and we enjoy many items to choose from. Always a pleasure to eat there. Staff is friendly to us. Food is delicious every time we go there.

$41 to find some kind of tape in my beef and broccoli. Needless to say I didn’t finish my plate. I don’t like to make a scene or I would have said something! Won’t be going back. Hopefully I don’t get sick now…

Went for lunch, it wasn’t horribly busy. It came out to $15/ person with water and tip. So not terribly priced. The ONLY thing I wasn’t impressed with was the pineapple. All the rest of the food was really good! The waitress was very nice and attentive. Will be coming back soon!

Since they reopen, my aunt & I decided to pay them a visit. The place was nice & clean, but the atmosphere was about average. My aunt was highly impressed with their seafood selection & sushi bar. Unfortunately, I’m not a seafood person, so I was anticipating the Live Stir-fry Station. Bad news, everyone, it’s been removed, so I’m stuck with only the buffet. The majority of the selections were made with chicken, 1 selection with beef (Broccoli Beef), & no pork. Truthfully, only the Honey Chicken was good & the rest either had a rubbery taste to it or was dried.
Service wise, the person taking care of us was disappointing. Several times, I had to request a refill for myself & my aunt. When we got the bill & I tipped 25%, no acknowledgment was made for the gratuity, thankfulness, or come back again was said.
So, in general, looking for seafood. This might be your place. Otherwise, the food is mediocre & the service is subpar.

We recently went to the dinner buffet after they reopened, and we were gladly surprised by the wide range of items available. In short, as of summer 2023, this is the best Chinese buffet in the Peoria area (including East Peoria, Morton, and Bloomington). The handful of other Chinese buffet places in the area offer very limited menus, and in my experience, their offerings have been subpar.
Let’s talk about food. This buffet offers a GREAT variety of sushi, including rarely seen ones in buffet settings like salmon and mackerel nigiri and octopus. A majority of the sushi were made with raw fish, which I liked. Plus, there’s a Hibachi station and all the standard Chinese buffet items. Apart from sushi, I particularly liked their chicken wings, fried fish, crab rangoon, and strawberry pastry. Although not really a “dish”, their Thai/sushi ginger is great. I would give the overall taste of the food 4 out of 5, considering the affordable price.
What they didn’t have was crab legs. Also, they had only one beef dish.
The dishes were refilled very quickly. The interior was clean and looked new (probably because of recent renovations). However, the men’s restroom was not clean. We went at a very busy time, but still, more attention to restroom cleanliness is needed. Some of the sushi items and other dishes did not have labels. Service was good. The price was reasonable despite the rising costs everywhere ($16 per person as of 06/2023).
Update: the restroom situation has improved. Still missing food labels but the manager said they are working on that.

MEMORIES WITH MARIE
Hong Kong is a work week favorite for me! Its seating and service is always inviting. Now the food is hot, well seasoned and freshly prepared! They variety menu is great for every dietary choice.
