I have dined at this restaurant on several occasions. It has a very large, open dining room and is a very popular restaurant. On a Sunday afternoon at 1:45, the dining room was full and there was a short wait. Obviously, the restaurant is very popular.

As someone who has never had authentic Dim Sum, I can say this was a learning experience. I came for Chinese New Year(cheesy…I know). I had Dim Sum at a different place but it was just plates coming out from the kitchen, not actual carts. This was much more fun and I had a blast. I felt a little intimated to ask more about the food and just googled a few things here and there, but I think that next time I will try and ask about the food a little more. It was also extremely busy that day so I didn’t want to hold anyone up, but an experience I recommend to anyone. Can’t wait to go back.

This place was recommended by several people. When my wife and I got there we were greeted, seated and in no time, served. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke Mandarin with me. The food portions were more than substantial and delicious. Definitely going back.

Overall good dim sum. For my first meal, I ate dim sum in the restaurant and ordered a few of the waiter recommended dishes and some that interested me. The soup dumplings were a disappointment, but everything else was good. We also ordered take out a few nights later off of the main menu and it was really good. HK Bistro is pretty authentic and tasty and I’d highly recommend trying it out!

Nice, spacious and authentic restaurant. Plenty of dumplings and dim sum to try . They also have Peking duck . Some dishes on the pricier side.

I really enjoyed all the food items, but I must admit I was surprised about the prices being much higher than what I saw in the photos of menus that people had posted. What balanced out the prices seeming to be high was that the portion sizes were huge! It’s hard to tell in the picture of the chicken pan fried noodles that I posted, but that’s a large casserole dish not a standard serving dish!
