Delicious retro dim dum restaurant attached to the supermarket. Ordered the XLB, crispy walnut shrimp, beef with broccoli, pork fried rice & crispy chicken wings – all were delicious, big portions & reasonably priced! Also had an egg tart for dessert- perfectly balanced not too sweet. Would definitely go back and try more items.

Hong Kong BBQ Dim Sum & Kitchen is a homey Chinese kitchen that serves up dim sum, entrees, and large family platters. The service is straight-forward and efficient, and the food offers excellent value for the price.

The Food
Beef with Broccoli: A comfort food staple executed well. The beef was tender and the savory sauce tied the dish together. The broccoli and carrots retained a fresh crunch rather than being overcooked.

House Special Fried Rice: A crowd favorite / staple. It was hearty and well-seasoned. Tip: Add a spoonful of their spicy chili oil to bring some necessary heat to the dish.

Dim Sum: The Pork Shumai, Shrimp Har Gow, and Baked BBQ Pork Buns are reliable family favorites that are perfect for a quick lunch or takeout.

Overall
A great shop for traditional Chinese entrees and dim sum. Come here for the reasonable prices and decent portion sizes.

No frills, Hong Kong takeout and sit-down spot. BBQ pork buns are yummy here, and they have this delicious fried flounder available as well.

Our go to dishes are always Honey Walnut Shrimp, Shredded Pork with Century Egg Porridge (really comforting and great for any time of day!), and their Sweet and Sour Pork.

The place is great for families of 5–8, but it’s just as enjoyable if you’re dining solo or with a friend. The ambiance isn’t exactly modern, it’s a little old school, but in a clean, decent, and nostalgic kind of way ☺️

It’s okay. I was rather unimpressed by the food even though I absolutely loved the party trays from this restaurant. Essentially, if you want food, make sure you are ordering the salt and pepper chicken wings from this restaurant as a party tray. The dishes and dim sum are super underwhelming even though the prices aren’t overtly unreasonable. The service was excellent and the area was comfortable though. I did notice they used the microwave and I will say that the food somehow was still a bit cold. I don’t really care if the microwave was used but I wish the food was hotter.

Reasonably priced dim sum. I liked the sticky rice leaves and baked creamy egg buns. The orange chicken was good but a little bit too overpowering for my palate. The other buns and dumplings were okay. I would definitely recommend going here but stick with what you know you like.

Absolutely love this place, and is a must visit whenever we have friends visiting. We’ve mostly indulged in the American-Chinese options, and many are among the best I’ve ever had. Best Mongolian beef, best sweet and sour chicken (still crispy leftover), best kung pao, and they also have solid dim sum options. The hom sui gok are great, and also the best I’ve had of that dish. Baked pork buns are awesome too if they have them. Usually easy to walk in and seat 5-6 people, and we love the big tables with lazy Susans. A personal hidden gem of a restaurant.

Very good food at a great quality:quantity:price point. I rated this 4 stars in the past, but the food and experience I feel has improved what was already very good food, so adding a star. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. They updated the place a year ago, so it’s nicer than it was before–but don’t come here for the ambiance (it’s in a space adjacent to a supermarket). Recent experience has re-confirmed this to be our preferred cozy, casual, eat-out-with-the-family place to go when we want solid Cantonese fare. They have some dim sum on the menu, which is all good, but it’s only for limited options. But what they do, they seem to do well.

Feels very authentic. The food was delicious. The employees were very friendly and warm. They were quick to make it. We order takeout and they didn’t even box the items until I got there to pick it up so that the food would stay warm. I will definitely be coming back here for my dim sum fix haha

Just be aware that the restaurant is in the same building as a grocery store.

Delicious hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. First thing, this establishment is described as a dim sum restaurant. While they do have some dim sum, the selection is a bit limited. Just wanted to note that if you were planning on entertaining a full dim sum experience. Having said that, the Chinese food here is tasty. We had the House Special Chow Mein (crispy) and it was well-made (although, the dish included fish, which we weren’t expecting, but the dish was still tasty). The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), gyoza, and baked pork buns were enjoyable as well. The restaurant is tucked away in an Asian grocery store, but it is a nice establishment with good Chinese food.
