We’ve been to many of the Chinese restaurants around Fort Worth and several of the best reviewed ones in Dallas and this is our favorite Chinese food so far. Particular standouts:
Pork Soup Dumplings: my wife loves soup dumplings, I’m usually not crazy about them, but we both agreed these are the best we’ve ever had. Incredibly delicious broth and perfectly cooked.
Eggplant with Special Sauce: Fried to light and crispy perfection and a really interesting sauce that’s not quite like anything I’ve had before.
House Special Fried Rice: I usually find fried rice a little bland, but they manage to get their rice incredibly flavorful.
Dry Fried String Beans: Classic Szechuan green beans, really well executed.
The only dish we’ve had here we didn’t think was very good was the Spicy Chicken, which is a stir fried version instead of the fried version you sometimes find and we thought turned out pretty dry. Everything else has been good to great.
Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and quick but you don’t see much of your server – you do all of your ordering through your phone. You do have to pay for any rice you want, which is a very minor pet peeve of mine. Overall, the fantastic food trumps everything else.

We visited Hongjie Restaurant and had such a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything felt so fresh and flavorful. The standout for me was definitely the homemade dumplings—they were perfectly cooked with a great balance of taste and texture. The restaurant itself is also such a cute spot, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a family meal. It’s a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some hearty, comforting food. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a warm, delicious dining experience!

Great food!!! The eggplant was easily some of the best I’ve ever had – crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Be aware, menu has no descriptions and orders are placed via mobile phone and website. We didn’t realize the Hot and Sour soup was garnished with cilantro. This could mean trouble if you have allergies.

I’m so glad that we have an authentic Chinese restaurant in Fort Worth. The food is SO DELICIOUS! The portion is big. We love everything we ordered. There are many different food options in the store.

We got lucky and saw this place had opened up recently and decided to stop in. The people inside were very friendly and the service was great.
Even though we were able to do our entire order from our phones, the server still took great care of us by making sure that we always had water in our cup.
We ordered the chicken soup dumpling and they were perfect. The fried rice is some of the best in this area. We also had the spicy braised pork stir-fry. It was very delicious but very spicy!!
We highly recommend you try it out! We will definitely be regulars here!

Staying in Hurst area for the night and saw dumplings and noodles. I didn’t get to try the noodles but the dumplings were pretty good. Kinda on the pricey side and got some string beans which tasted pretty good.
If I had to rank it for a cold weather, dumplings in the soup, then the xiao long bao soup dumplings and the chili oil dumplings third because I didn’t like the Szechuan numbing.
Each dish was about $15 per.
We ordered via mobile phone QR code, which I saw reviews people complain which suggest they should get a self ordering kiosk stand. For what it’s worth in the Hurst area these are pretty good to what they have available.
Online shows they close at 9:30 but they actually close at 9, thankful they seated us even though they were about to close in 30 mins.

We visited during a soft opening and ordered Pork Soup Dumplings, Beef Chow Mein, Seafood Braised Tofu, and Pan-Fried Pork Buns. The food was really delicious. Be careful with the soup dumplings in your mouth. Once it pops, you could burn your tongue.
You can see the employees making the dumplings by hand right behind the counter. Good service. Hopefully, they can get some art on the walls to add some color. Overall a good experience!
