I’ve been coming to Hong A Vietnamese Cuisine for years, and it continues to impress me every single time. The consistency in both service and food quality is truly remarkable.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. The staff always make you feel welcome and valued, and they go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.
The food is absolutely outstanding, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every dish is packed with authentic flavours, from the rich, aromatic broths to the crisp herbs and perfectly cooked meats. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every plate.
The restaurant is always clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it perfect for both a casual meal and a relaxed dinner with friends or family. After years of dining here, I can confidently say this is one of my favourite spots.

We ordered pork spring rolls, the house special pho and beef satay pho. The spring rolls were mildly seasoned but crispy. The pho broth was clear and fragrant, and apparently, MSG-less! More basil was provided upon request. Would return!

Great little spot with excellent service and good atmosphere. Place was spotless, well priced and had amazing service, good was quick and was good, felt like it could use a little more spices but good overall, lots of parking available and fairly easy to get to.

Deserve 6 stars. Was in area for shopping and decided to stop here for dinner with the wife. Super super impressed with overall experience. Customer service was 10/10 food was amazing. Atmosphere is great and very clean and well kept up. Pretty sure the owners were the ones working and take very good care of you. Will for surely be coming back. Thank you.

I went to Hong An for a sub.
I ordered a beef and I got a turkey sub.
It is likely turkey left over from Thanksgiving that was on the 13th of October.
It is October 23.
When I called they denied it was turkey and lied to me and said I ordered #9 which was chicken, but I specifically asked for beef and did not specify a number.
So I got a ten day old meat turkey sub after I ordered beef and then I got lied to.
Turkey isn’t an option on the menu by the way.
Also, I had some other people try a piece of meat and it is distinctly turkey.
I will never return. I not only know what turkey tastes like, I also know that I ordered beef specifically.
These people are Rude liars.

Sub was just okay but need more source. I just only taste mayo with dry beef. I know all place and price up but do not want to pay for $10 for sub.

This is the beef satay and curry beef soup – the curry beef is medium spicy, velvety broth. We have been coming here for more than 5 years; our kids love it too, they split the kid-sized soup. We usually get the shrimp salad rolls or spring rolls, both amazing.
Dine in or take out. The owners are some of the kindest, most hard working people I’ve ever met. They deserve support and have been keeping such a positive spirit through all the rules mandated.

Our go to for Vietnamese in S.E. Calgary! Vermicelli bowls are my favourite! Food is always fresh and tasty, great serving sizes. I feel comfortable taking visitors there. Service is fast and friendly, restaurant decor is nice as well.
