Great menu with creative interesting choices, quality ingredients, and the specials broaden all that. Had a delicious local duck egg with applewood smoked bacon, field greens on house made brioche, what a great way to start the day! Welcoming, attentive, relaxed folks here, doing a great job with no fuss, letting the cooking speak for itself.

I love the Honeysuckle! Colin and Monique have so much love for their food and their service. Go there any day (closed Mon & Tues. They need a life too), and order any Daily Special. You can get a burger anywhere.

I’m the father of the bride, the strange uncle that wrecks Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas for the rest of the family. I have eaten way more cobbler, pulled pork and barbecued chicken than anyone that attended the wedding…leftovers. Honeysuckle Cafe went far beyond reasonable to make the wedding a wonderful success for my daughter and her southern-gentleman husband. Personal attention and consideration by Honeysuckle was remarkable. The food, simple and delicious and in great quantity! And the few leftovers are keeping a contentious old recluse and his aged dog alive and very happy. Nice job! Thank you to Honeysuckle!

This charming little cafe in a storefront in out-of-the way hamlet Ruch is absolutely top notch. I have been there several times since it opened almost three years ago. Everyone I have taken there has given it high marks and have returned again. This is a breakfast and lunch place, closing at 3 pm. The food is outstanding, thanks to Colin Cox who is a seasoned professional chef trained at a culinary arts institute in San Francisco. Colin’s wife Monique pretty much runs the place, as well as tends to all the customers, a charming, efficient and unflappable multi-tasker. I have only seen one other employee there, but for the most part, Colin and Monique do everything and are among the hardest working people I can think of. Their business wouldn’t be growing like it is if they weren’t doing things right. In order to achieve some semblance of work-life balance they now close on Monday and Tuesday. Their teenage son helps on weekends. I should also mention that they have an excellent choice of draft beers and other adult beverages. The menu is diverse and interesting, and changes frequently. I have had various soups and sandwiches there. They commonly have locally sourced organic ingredients for the eggs Benedict and corned beef hash. The Ruben sandwich on marbled rye bread with sour kraut is outstanding. If you are lucky, they might have just made a fruit/berry cobbler served hot with ice cream.

Last Friday my girlfriend called in an order for biscuits and gravy and they told her it would be ready in 15 minutes. After a 20 minute drive to pick it up they informed her they only do them on the weekends.it was a wasted trip and very disappointing and unprofessional. It seems they are pretty unorganized.

We are so happy to have this wonderful cafe in our zip code, but if it was farther away I’d drive there for a meal. The owners really care and their food is prepared with love. Friendly wait staff and all around good choice for a meal with friends and family.

12 dollar sunday special half a small bowl green salsa 6 corn tortilla chips and a egg. Hated it. When I mentioned while paying that it was horrible and not a good value the owner(?) started arguing with me that I didnt know restaurant costs. First off that is not true, I was the assistant head chef at the Sedona Golf Resort Restaurant and I know costs/value and secondly when a paying customer is unhappy, you dont argue with them you listen to their feedback to hear what you can do better. I will never eat here again. The deli in the Ruch store (right next door) has good design your own sandwiches and other good choices. Whether you agree with a customer or not when they are unhappy it is a real thing to consider and the correct response is to be professionally polite and not justify your opinion and argue with them.
