Our restaurant is inspired by someone truly special: Iris Potter – lovingly known as Honey”. Growing up by her mom’s cookstove, in a small cafe, where warm and delicious aroma filled the air. Honey developed a lifelong love for baking. When Honey had her own children, she baked for them and the neighborhood kids, who would sit on the back porch waiting for fresh baked bread, warm brownies and whatever delightful creations emerged from Honey’s Kitchen that day. But Honey’s talent didn’t stop there; she infused creativity and generosity into everything she touched, from writing poetry, playing the piano, singing and dancing to crocheting colorful scrap caps for children around the world. Today at Honey’s each dish is inspired by her…

When we arrived, we were told that coffee and water were available at the end of the bar in a self-serve setup, and that espresso drinks weren’t available at the time. No problem—we’d already had coffee—so I opted for a tea instead. It was a standard Bigelow tea, nothing fancy, but I appreciated having the option.
My friend ordered the chicken and waffles—her first time trying the dish—and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose the Honey’s Delight Waffle, which comes topped with prosciutto, fig spread, sliced d’Anjou pears, goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey. It was delicious. I’m not normally a big fan of prosciutto, but the way it was used here really worked—it was like a charcuterie board on a waffle. I also added two over-easy eggs to balance out my protein intake, and they were cooked exactly as expected.
Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and the experience lived up to the anticipation.
Wife and I tried the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits and it was one of the best I have had – and I’m a snob on this item. Biscuits were well prepared, nice texture, flaky and held up to the gravy. Gravy was spot on with an appropriate amount on the Biscuits and plate as well as had great flavor and was not the “sagey” style of flavor, which I appreciated. Flavors were well balanced and the portion size was appropriate and prices were very fair. Coffee was great.
The owner had us try out a fresh made lemon curd on a small biscuit. On point. If you see available, it is. Must.
Prosciutto Ham, Fig Spread, D’Anjou Pear, Goat Cheese, drizzled with Honey Syrup.

Delicious food and very reasonable prices for this day in age. We got the kimchi omelette and the honey’s delight waffle and ate every bite. There were also at least 5 other things on the menu we wanted to try, and hope we will be back soon for those…. Also, very friendly staff and cute atmosphere. We were here on a Saturday in the winter, so not crowded and no wait. Strongly recommend!
