This place is a gem
I’ve been to HP twice so far. They have distinct food that’s difficult to find elsewhere. The brisket was amazing, and the meatloaf I tried on the second day was just as good. I’ll definitely come back!

Went here today, wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. If you’re spending $30 on a plate I was expecting to be wow’d but really wasn’t. The fish and chips were very oily (and like another reviewer said left the person not feeling great afterwards) I ordered a burger, and it was just ok. I’d say a little over cooked but maybe it was the style? $7 for an extra patty. Should have just tried the steak lol. The fries were soggy and cold with our order and such a tiny side. Which I’m not saying we need a ton of fries but when you’re paying that much for a plate I would expect more. We ordered another side of fries for the table and they were hot and better and for the $6 worth it. Our server was quick and very attentive but not annoying either.
All in all just sort of meh! We will stick to our usual spot but now we’re not left wondering what’s going on at the Honey Pot.

Staff were very friendly but food was pretty sub par. I did get a sense of community for sure and the people that were there were so happy and treated well! Just pricy for the quality in my opinion and the food was very heavy and quite greasy. Left one of our members not feeling well for the rest of the night
Fries were yummy and the actual steak (under the mound cheese and very minimal lobster) was very good quality though.
There was so much greasy cheese that our member took it off and put it to the side and the waitress thought it was a side of mashed potatoes with butter.

Our first time to be in Wainwright and at Honeypot Eatery – based on a friend’s recommendation! Overall the food was really good especially the salad. The staff are super friendly and helpful and answered our questions with patience! We really liked the interior’s vibe and hope we can try the patio in our next visit! I respect how hard they’re working during this difficult time and definitely recommend it! Cheers!

Unfortunately, my wings were cold and had to be sent back. The next batch was great. My husband’s dish wasn’t hot either.
I don’t suggest the table by the kitchen door. There were plenty of other available seats.

This is a quaint little English/Irish inspired pub. The food is excellent, the service was really good as well. They have a pot of soup of the day on, for you to help yourself, it’s complimentary.
We had Egg Drop Chicken soup, and it was so delicious! I ordered the Yorkshire Pudding Brisket, it was amazing! The Lobster Mushroom Caps were really good, as was all the food that day. Very cozy decor. We enjoyed our visit that day.

First (but not last) time here.. OMG!! Such a great little place. Our server was adorable, the food was awesome! Try the Chicken Ceasar Salad pita tray.. you won’t be disappointed!! Will definately be back!!

Update, I gave this place another shot. I was glad I did! Great friendly service great food and absolutely nothing hindered my experience. I think I will for sure make this place regular stop! Changed from 2 to 5 stars exactly the review I would of given the first time I went.
This was my second trip to the Honeypot. I had high hopes after such a good first experience. The wait staff was top notch, coffee’s never empty and very attentitive. The food on the other hand was just meh. I ordered steak and lobster for my birthday supper and was greatly disappointed. Lobster and steak were both overcooked. Ordered a medium rare, got medium well, very dry. Lobster was a little chewy but tolerable. Ended up sending the steak back and didn’t want a replacement because it would take too long, we were a group of 6.
When the bill came they gave me 20% off my steak when I didn’t eat more than one bite. I was appaled, I shouldn’t have to pay for it at all! After bringing up my concern they begrudgingly gave me 50% off my meal. I paid 7$ for a steak I didn’t touch. I do not think I’ll be going back anytime soon. A sad birthday supper this was.

Rave! …. to Naomi at the Honeypot Eatery & Pub for her great service. She was very professional and ensured we had a nice evening. Rave to the chefs at the Honeypot for the mouth-watering steak & lobster. The steak was juicy and the lobster was fresh. The Lasagna was incredible! It was very meaty and cooked to perfection. It was my first time here, definitely won’t be the last.
