This place gives me a feeling of enjoying street food in Korea, the atmosphere is casual under close friends and family members.
Staffs are very friendly.
They don’t offer a long menu, only around 12 options of meat types. The cooking tool is one of the special, eye catching objects that enhances the dish outcomes, from crispy edged brisket or crispy fried rice at the end.

If you come here, make sure to get all the specialty pork. We made the mistake of ordering some beef belly, which we regretted as soon as we tried their pork—it’s so much better. Try to skip the beef and focus mainly on pork. They also give you free fried rice at the end, either when you finish or when you request it. I recommend saving some meat for the end and asking them to make the fried rice then, since it’s much better with meat than eating it plain, which is just a bunch of carbs. The only thing I don’t like about this restaurant is that the flavors lack sweetness—most of the side dishes are already salty, and the dipping sauce is salty too. If they had a sweet soy sauce like some other restaurants, it would help balance out the flavors. Otherwise, this place is still really good, and I highly recommend it.

WELCOME TO THE TABLE
Been to copious Korean BBQ including East Coast, never I encountered with authentic cast iron lid to barbecue in any venues. That’s what this place makes distinctive Korean BBQ place and May, she is impeccable in attentive service at the tables with her FOH staffs. Head of server was at the table when I visited, well knowledge in searing the meats and thoughtful service throughout the dining. Sending my utmost thanks to entire team!

* They do the cooking for you and let you know when is ready to eat. They leave you and will come back to check and continue cooking.
* If you order Fried Rice, they cook it at the end, after you finish with all your meat order.
They mixed all the leftover kimchi and bean sprout with the rice and make fried rice. Kids dont like kimchi so i get ours without kimchi and beansprout.
* They put kimchi, beansprouts, onion on the bbq.

Order honey pork belly and marinated beef short ribs, steam egg. Both of the is good. Marinated beef ia my favorite.
Price is over price for such small potion.
Service is good. Place is okay.

If you like garlic, dont forget to ask for sliced garlic. Put it on bbq and eat it with meat is good.

I recently visited Honey Pig in Buena Park and overall had a great experience! The food was solid—classic Korean BBQ with good quality meats, especially the pork belly and beef, and they refilled everything without needing to ask.

What really stood out to me was the staff’s friendliness. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Our server was attentive, offered to cook some of the meat for us, and checked in often without being overbearing. Everyone seemed genuinely kind, even when the restaurant started to get busier.

That said, I can see how things might be different on a packed night. It wasn’t super busy when we went, but I’ve heard service can slow down during peak times. If you’re looking for more personalized attention, I’d recommend going during early dinner.

Overall, it’s a fun place for K-BBQ with friendly staff and good vibes. I’d definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing Korean BBQ experience!

Honey Pig in Buena Park is hands down one of the best K-BBQ spots around. The meat quality is top-notch—everything was fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly on the grill right in front of us. The staff was super friendly and attentive, always making sure our grill was clean and our side dishes were refilled.

The atmosphere is lively and fun, perfect for a night out with friends or family. I especially loved the short rib(꽃살), honey pig special pork belly (똥돼지 삼겹살) and the pork jowl! Also, the kimchi fried rice (볶음밥) they make at the end—it’s the perfect finish to an already great meal. (Ask for to-go container to take sone with you!)

If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ with great service and generous portions, Honey Pig is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Definitely a great local Korean BBQ spot to go to in Buena Park.

Went during lunch so we were the only people there. Sean was such a great server and was very kind and respectful. Their #7 PORK is amazing and very filling . The Sticky Fried Rice they cook for you after u finish your meat is excellent

Ask Sean for his special server sauce that he makes and it’s actually pretty Fuego.

Honey Pig is pretty big and looks like a typical Korean BBQ restaurant .
