Got seated, handed our menus. The waiter took our drink and appetizer order. So far so good. We get our drinks and the waiter steps outside, leaving us needing refills within 10 minutes. 20 minutes pass by and we finally get a refill from another waitress. Then another 20 minutes go by and they bring us our food, yes includingthe appetizer thats supposed to be before the meal. Now this is where things start to get harry… (literally). The person I was with found hair in their fries, and lo and behold, there’s hair in mine. I get it, things happen. I told the waiter, he sees it, takes my plate back, only to bring back that same exact plate with the hair removed. I know this because I put a carrot in a certain position on top of my potato. They brought the exact same plate out. Granted, we wasn’t charged for our entrée, but we shouldn’t have paid for anything. That was just terrible. Will not be going here ever again, unless they invest in hair nets.

Our waitress was always checking on us! There was aloy if food for the price. The only down fall parking could be a little tough at times.

I got the chicken fried chicken there with mashed potatoes, loaded potato soup, and mixed vegetables. The gravy on the chicken and mashed potatoes made the meal taste even better than it would have tasted otherwise. I liked that they had a lot of options on their menu, unlike some places. It wasn’t too busy when I was there, which was nice. The server was good at his job. The restaurant was clean and had lots of honeybee-themed pictures on the wall, which makes sense given the name. Also-fun fact-Honeybee is the name of a Blake Shelton song. Great restaurant!

Nice diner style restaurant. Ample seating, but the parking is limited. Food is very good with a large menu and is reasonably priced. Service was good and the food was served quickly. It was busy during my visit and there may be a few minute wait but nothing too bad. I will be back!

Great breakfast place. Never been here before but definitely will come back! Fresh squeezed orange juice was awesome. I got the lumberjack something that had eggs, bacon, sausage links, hash browns and French toast. All very good. Fresh desserts as well that looked great but too full to try today. Parking lot was full but learned parking in back too.

Everything ive tried from hear has seriously been put of this world with flavor. I look forward too going back, I tell anyone going too order through mattoon too stop bye there they will leave happy and full and continue too go back. Great food, fair prices, friendly staff!!! Definitely a must

Really liked this place- comfy, staff very pleasant (Sunnie was quite nice), food came fast and was good- especially the cinnamon French toast! Biscuits and gravy good- but it helps to order a side of link sausage with it (gravy a tad bland). LOVED the side of ham slice. Great looking bakery/ desserts frig. Overall delightful.
