We were able to get last minute reservations and everything was so phenomenal. Service was fast and the food was delicious. We got the black velvet oysters and highly recommend them. The wagyu beef tartare was also a favorite of the night. All around amazing and I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again.

Oh good gosh Hay-Zeus Christos it was a culinary bliss driven ride! Wow oh wow we LOVED it! Top-tier eats whilst in moody, low-lit ambiance, nice tunes on the speaks with impeccable service and fantastic customer service from the very friendly & professional staff made this an extremely memorable visit coupled with happy hearts.
We ordered a healthy medley encompassing the Miso-Maple Yams, Shrimp Martini, Blackened Green Beans, Fried Oysters, Black Tea Glazed ribs which were ALL absolutely scrumptious to the UMPTIOUS and the one dish that knocked our socks off clean out of our boots, that we loved sooo much, that we were planning to invite into the family tree was the Kanpachi Ceviche. Like really Chef? Like why is it so good that it hurts? In the words of once Californian politician, “I’ll be back” .

Excellent restaurant. Beautiful, curated decor. Haven’t had a bad plate yet. Elevated, delicious, small plates with plenty of each item for everyone to enjoy.

My boyfriend and I came here for a romantic birthday dinner and let me just say, this place does not disappoint. If you are used to gorging and love giant plates of food, this place might not be for you. If you love to taste every perfect bite and relish in the magical creation of chefs who know food, with dishes that are carefully constructed, this place is for you.

At one point while eating the ceviche special, served on 4 Asian style soup spoons, delicate white fish in a coconut milk, accompanied by pineapple and some sort of picked red pepper or something quite magical… we made a joke about the server will come to the table and we would just be crying tears of joy and how wired that would be, but it wasn’t a joke at all because I actually cried! No really, it’s that delicious. Also, our server was wonderful. the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

Honey is a great tapas place with delicious food and yummy cocktails. My wife and I went for our anniversary and it was spectacular! It is pricey but honestly the quality is worth it. If you want a place for your next extravagant date night, anniversary or any other special event look no further than honey. ❤️

I almost glitch out when trying to write a review sharing what was so good because I’m infiltrated by all of the pleasure I experienced eating here.

SO FREAKING GOOD. ALL OF IT.

1000/10, no notes, you must come try this.

Loved it all but here’s my favorite to least favorite even though they were all bangers:

Truffle & Smokehouse Potato Chips
Black Tea Glaze Spare Ribs
Salmon Tartare Tacos
Take 6 dessert
Fried oysters
Duck samosa
Squash hummus

All so so good though. The chips were criminally delicious. I rarely eat gluten or dairy but this was worth every single bite. GLORIOUS.

The positives : the waitress and the host were phenomenal and really tried their best to “sell” the place. The chef does understand flavors.
The negatives : although some components were pricey such as caviar & saffron (couldn’t even taste those btw) they were minimal due to the insanely small servings. Every “plate” that was over $15 was simply not worth it. The best example was the $28 “lobster rolls”. They were ludicrously expensive for what they offered. 2 teeny tiny rolls about 2”-3” in diameter. Come on , I think you could make the rip off less obvious. Other than those , we ordered the beet salad , the octopus, the tuna crudo , the spring rolls and although some of these had decent flavors , nothing was something I’d never tasted before. We ate at a moderately priced local restaurant earlier in the day that impressed us way more with diversification and creativity (I’ll review them too). Clearly this self taught chef does know flavors but he also knows how to take advantage of the patrons. Not going back. Would not recommend to anyone.I’m shocked this gets a 4.8 and can only assume most of the prior patrons don’t have a ton of fine dining experience not to be condescending.

My husband and I have been eating at Honey for several years. We love the small plates format of the restaurant as it allows us to share a variety of flavors in one meal. Joe’s soups are among the best we’ve had anywhere, our favorite being the sun choke soup. The foie gras sliders and lobster rolls shouldn’t be missed and if the ceviche is on the menu, we will each order our own! Don’t be afraid to over order…your servers will pack up your leftovers and you will be thrilled to savor Honey’s “delights” the next day!!

Nestled in the heart of Doylestown, Honey is an intimate, small-plate dining experience that feels both upscale and inviting. With its dim lighting, warm wooden accents, and a romantic ambiance, this American tapas-style restaurant is perfect for a date night or a special evening with friends who appreciate inventive cuisine.

The menu at Honey is a bold exploration of flavors, seamlessly blending sweet, savory, and umami elements in ways that surprise and delight. One of the must-try dishes is the spareribs with ginger ice cream, an unexpected yet harmonious combination that balances the richness of the ribs with the cool, slightly spicy sweetness of the ice cream. The miso kale salad is another standout, offering a perfect blend of earthy greens, umami-rich miso, and a hint of nuttiness.

For those who enjoy a little heat, the blackened green beans bring the right amount of char and spice, making them addictively snackable. The truffle chips are an indulgent delight, crisp and fragrant with just the right amount of truffle essence. And the chicken meatballs—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—are a comforting yet elevated take on a classic dish.

Each plate is thoughtfully presented, portioned for sharing, and layered with flavors that encourage guests to slow down and savor each bite. The service is attentive without being intrusive, with knowledgeable staff ready to guide diners through the menu.

For those looking for a unique dining experience in Doylestown, Honey is a true hidden gem. Its cozy setting, innovative dishes, and carefully curated flavors make it a destination worth revisiting. Whether you’re a foodie or simply someone who appreciates great food in a charming atmosphere, Honey delivers a memorable experience that lingers long after the last bite.

OK the sour cream ice cream at Honey changed my life. Hear me out.

I took a snowy drive over to Doylestown for a GNO. We picked a new-to-us restaurant and buckled up for a tasty ride. Honey restaurant serves a tapas-style menu which is ideal for those who like to order a bit of everything and sharesies. Our server recommended 2-3 plates per person, so we ordered exactly that.

The meal started with a gift from the kitchen. It was a warm, buttery crostini with goat cheese and a raisin mostarda. There was a secondary gift of savory popcorn, which I wasn’t crazy about, but served as a nice snack in between dishes. We also ordered the tuna crudo, which came served on a salt block and topped with rye breadcrumbs. The risotto balls were delicately fried and bathed in a sweet marinara. We LOVED the tender broccolini with almond romesco. And the ham and cheese on a pretzel roll and the meatball parm (lamb = genius) were our favorites of the savories. The flavors were truly inventive and surprising. It’s clear that the chef put critical thought and care into each menu item.

We ended the meal with a “Take 6” (their spin on a Take 5, which happens to be one of my fav candies). I was intrigued by the sour cream ice cream served in another dessert dish, so asked for a scoop of that too lmao. If you’re a fellow sour cream donut lover, order this ice cream and thank me later.

A perfect snow day meal. If you’re nearby Doylestown, put this place on your Bucks County bucket list!
