I stopped here for take-out last week and ordered the okra stew w/fish and fufu. It was ready within 20min and was AMAZING.
The okra stew had a huge amount of fish in it and was enough for 2 meals for me. The fufu was so soft, chewy and fresh.
This is 30mins from my house and is so good I plan to regularly make the drive.
Best African food I’ve had in years.

Grabbed takeout for dinner with my wife and overall had a good experience. My wife really enjoyed the Egusi soup with pounded yam. I ordered the jollof rice with stewed chicken, which was good, though the flavor wasn’t especially memorable. I ordered ahead of time and the food was ready within the timeframe they gave, which made pickup easy and convenient.
Overall, it was a solid takeout experience. Worth trying if you’re in the mood for West African food

Visited for the 1st time and it was ok. It wasn’t busy at all (we were the only customers dining in) but the food took some time to come out. However, it was pipping hot, which was fantastic for this weather. I ordered the okra stew and peanut soup both tasted good. My cousin got egusi but there was no soup. She said it was good though.
The atmosphere was cool. Just a couple of guys watching soccer and having beers but not an issue.

Tried African food for the first time and I’m soooo happy I found this spot!!! I’ve only had the egusi and okro soup and both are fire!!! I’ve tried them not too long ago and chose egusi, but decided to try okro soup this past Friday before the snow hit….DELICIOUSSSSS!!! I’m a huge okra lover but I don’t think I’ll eat it any other way. The fufu was like butter but eating it with the okra soup gave me a sensory overload and I was forced to do my happy dance. I travel quite a distance for this food but it’s so worth it and I can’t wait until I get home so I start my feast in the car with plenty of wet wipes AND it’s still hot once I get home!!! Don’t hesitate, just try them out! 10’s across the board!

Ordered takeout from this place for the 1st time yesterday. I ordered the Liberian Dry Rice which comes with a choice of Goat, Chicken or fish and I opted for the chicken. It was a wonderful experience as everything was full of flavor and super spicy as I expected. The sweet plantains were ripe to perfection. My husband (who is Liberian) and I enjoyed it so much we went back today for a 2nd plate of the same order. As long as they continue to cook this particular meal as they did for us I will be a regular!

Bad cashier attitude. Staring me down like I owed him money. The food was such tiny portions, it’s like you’re begging them for it. A business that does not appreciate its customers. Avoid, do not recommend 1/10.

I ordered the peanut butter stew… it was just ok. I’ve had peanut butter stew before and it was a bit thicker. This stew was thin with little bits of meat. The fufu was great. I will try something else from here 1 more time because the fufu was good

Food is pretty good, however the cashier is always angry for some reason, if you don’t like what you do quit.

Food was delicious. Service was extremely slow. I’d recommend you call ahead. Was told 25 minutes for my order to be ready. It took around 45-50 minutes. Ordered okra soup with fish and pounded yam. My 3rd time having it for I live in Athens.
