I have visited this place multiple times, and it is one of the best Indian restaurants, especially for Punjabi delicacies with a wide range of spice levels, including baby mild and religious ones like Swaminarayan. Their Dabeli is the best and particularly their Pav. Hands down to the quality as they are homemade (try it yourself). Their punjabi delicacies are yummy. Loved Paneer pudina tikka in the entrées and we repeatedly ordered Paneer Makhani sizzler. It’s just loaded with flavours and tastes fab The main course is tastier too, with items like parathas, pulaos. I had indo Chinese but wasn’t satisfied with the dryness of the manchurian in it. Their Honest specials are good and the Mango lassi is just yum. Water tastes poor but waiters are so good, they are pretty professional to check your preferences for any intolerances and food allergies. Appreciate it! Once we requested to celebrate a friend’s anniversary cake cutting and the staff were incredible to keep the cake in the fridge until our dinner was complete and gave us extra plates with spoons for cake serving without even asking. They have clean washrooms and high chairs are available. No issues with the parking and waiting time as well. Price worthy food and Definitely a cool ambience engaging both music and cricket lovers at once Kudos to Chandini who runs the place and definitely a tastier and closest option for people near the Wilmington to enjoy the vegetation food.

We went Honest Indian Restaurant for dinner and tried the Katori chat, the KGF sandwich (there were a few other tempting options) and chole bhature. The chat was tasty and felt authentic, the sandwich was decent, and the chole bhature was okay—could have been richer but still passable. We also liked their idea of opening a tab online via mobile and placing orders from there, which made things pretty convenient to place an order.
Overall a pleasant spot for flavorful Indian food.

I usually never write bad reviews, especially about food, because mistakes can happen anywhere—even at home. But this experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel it’s important to share the honest truth to guide others.
I ordered a South Indian thali, mango lassi, and noodles with Manchurian. The Manchurian was shocking—only two round Manchurian balls were cut into three pieces each, so I received just six small pieces in total. This dish cost more than $15, which is completely unacceptable for the quantity and presentation.
The mango lassi tasted like it was more than 3 days old and was not fresh at all. In the South Indian thali, more than 50% of the items seemed to be frozen, lacking freshness and authentic taste. The only item that was good was the carrot halwa.
I am not someone who counts money when it comes to food—I came for good food and a good experience. Unfortunately, there was zero customer service and food quality was very poor. This combination leaves no words to describe the disappointment.
To make matters worse, I suffered serious stomach issues the entire night after eating here. Because of this, I felt it was my responsibility to write this review at 2:40 AM, as I believe people deserve to know the truth before spending their money and risking their health.
Very disappointing experience overall.

My friend and I enjoyed the most delicious food at Honest Indian. Would highly recommend . Great food, clean environment and easy ordering. Doesn’t get any better!

The food was good. The service was a little slow. It could have been faster. The tables to sit were a little too small for 2 people and the staff didn’t clean the dirty plates to make room on the table.

I stumbled across HONEST vegetarian Indian restaurant and thought I’d give it a try. The menu is accessed with a QR. All the food looked great and in English but since I am not of Indian heritage, I was daunted by the variety. I asked a staff person for help and she gladly consented. I asked for the “standard” Indian fare with mild spice. She recommended the samosa chaat and naan bread. The food was good but a bit spicy. The service was poor. I may return but it’s highly unlikely.

Taste:-
We had ordered lots of things and almost for everything the taste was really good. Just for the pau bhaji I was sensing some bitter taste but when I complained about that they changed the dish and the new one was good.
From soup to desert everything was quite tasty in general
Price:-
I’d say the prices of food are bit costly considering all the nearby options but you definitely get the quality for it.
Ambience:-
Ambience was good (Not great though). The songs from tv was going on and seatings of table was kinda okay (you don’t have a private or personal space, except for only one last table)
Staff:-
Staff were pretty friendly. Had got the chance to meet the head chef, Malcom, he was really a cool guy. Thanks a lot chef ❤️
Conclusion:-
I’d definitely recommend going here. This is my preferred choice of restaurant over any other Indian restaurants I know from nearby.

If you crave for Indian chat or a decent Indian food, this is the place. Fast service, fresh and tasty chat and friendly staffs. I like the atmosphere too. I have not tried the other regular food such as curries and bread etc., but from the look of it, it seems tasty I would come back and update the review once I have tasted jt. This is one of those places make you want to come back.

Visited Honest Indian Restaurant yesterday for the first time with my family, which I heard about them through friends. We got seated without delays. Ordered Hot n Sour soup, which was really tasty compared to other places. Chole-batura was also awesome. Noodles with Manchuria (dry) was super tasty as well. After us, we saw people waiting, which shows how popular this place is. The restaurant team greeted us very nicely. Even though we ordered another dish, they canceled as per our request immediately without hesitation. Coming to prices vs. quality vs. quantity, I feel quantity is a little less. A typical family with 2 adults and 2 kids can expect anywhere between $40 to $70 on average per my view. Gave one less star due to the atmosphere because the place won’t give you a super formal appearance but is good in general. It is still a nice restaurant nevertheless.

The worst experience ever. I almost never leave reviews but I had to for this one. Staff are kind of act as we don’t exist in the restaurant. No communication. I ordered spicy paneer grill – it was neither spicy nor had salt. I ordered 2 curries – veg jalfrezi and veg mushroom curry – again no salt, not tasty but guess what both were same gravies but one had mushroom and the other had carrot. We ordered naan – which was super burnt and black on one half and undercooked on the other half, we politely requested for a nonburnt naan and what did we get? Another half-burnt and half-undercooked naan. Not to mention they are pricey! Overall the worst service and worst food. Never coming back again!
