The Honest Eatery in Draper was really delicious. I got an egg sandwich, which was very tasty. Unfortunately, it didn’t fill me up and was very expensive. This is a place where people want to get a more healthy food option. They have kiosk that you order from at the entrance.

Normally this place is great, I am celiac and have never had problems getting sick even when getting it to go. Unfortunately today I ordered a breakfast sandwich with sub gluten free bread(celiac safe) to go, and to my dismay when I arrived home & opened the container I was faced with a coal black sandwich. The bread I paid extra was absolutely inedible. It took 30 mins to get my order, I should’ve know something was wrong with how long it took & the fact that one of the employees had a phone call going on speaker the entire time. It’s sad because I really like this place but definitely will not be coming back for a minute.

My wife and I were in town for an event and were happy to find somewhere that we could grab a quick breakfast with delicious food that was also clean enough that we felt great for the rest of the day.
There was no wait time, their food options were creative and different than what you’ll see most other places, it tasted great, and we felt awesome afterwards.

I tried the Generous Shake and the True toast. Both were excellent and I could tell they used really high quality ingredients. They have such a nice atmosphere as well! I’m just bummed I’m not a local, or this would become a regular spot for me.

I’ve been here before and thought it was a bit overpriced, but I’m willing to pay for high quality ingredients and support a business that promotes clean eating so I thought I’d give it another chance.
This morning I was in the area for an appointment and decided to treat myself to a smoothie afterwards. I walked in to an empty restaurant and found no one at the register. I wasn’t in a rush, so I waited patiently for about 5 minutes and made a little noise to hopefully alert the staff that I was there. I could hear voices in the back, so eventually I walked down the hallway toward the restroom to alert someone in the back that I was there.
When I caught the attention to the 2 girls in the back, they gave me a look that made me question whether I had accidentally walked into a closed restaurant (it was about 10am). This gave me pause, so I asked if they were open, to which they replied “yes”. While they continued to look at me like I wasn’t supposed to be there, I asked if I would be able to order a smoothie. One of them said “sure, in a minute”, turned her back to me, and continued to chat with the other staff member. I walked out.
I’ve worked in customer facing roles for a long time. I understand that it can be tough to balance the BOH and FOH needs of a business. I also understand that life happens and staff aren’t always having a good day, and for that reason, I always treat them with kindness and compassion even when I may not receive that in return. However, I was treated as if my desire to buy was a nuisance, and the smoothies here are not exceptional enough to put up with that.

I came in with my 2 year old daughter to give this place a try. We came in and got a shake. We tried the Bold Shake because I am a big fan of peanut butter. The Bold Shake has Almond Milk, Bananas, peanut butter, vanilla whey, peanut butter crumbs and a chocolate drizzle. It was fantastic. My daughter loved it. A very filling shake.

My first ever experience at any honest eatery was this location and I genuinely don’t think I could’ve gotten an experience better than the one I had.
Brinley was the person that helped me that day and they had a deal going on that I couldn’t figure out. She so kindly guided me through the process and helped me find what I wanted. I’ve never seen such an arrangement of options for açaí bowls as you can find in honest eatery and although I was a little overwhelmed, she was super kind and patient with me through it all. I ended up making a huge bowl on accident from my indecisiveness and she didn’t even hesitate to show me her skills with managing it, closing my overflowing bowl with a lid trick so I could take it to go. She has the most beaming, friendly smile I’ve seen in a long time and I left for the day absolutely gushing about the service I had.
I came back in less than a week and I ran into her again. She remembered me instantly and that brought me so much joy. She always has the same bright smile, greeted me like always, and helped me through what I wanted that day with fun, light conversation. I left that day gushing about her service to my boyfriend again.
I couldn’t stop thinking about honest eatery. I credit it all to Brinley’s service. I went to another location since it was closer to me at the time and my heart broke because the service was incomparable to this location’s. You wouldn’t believe it, I followed up by going back to this Draper location.
I’ve been to this location about 6 times now (I think… I’ve lost count) and every time I was greeted by Brinley and her amazingly warm smile. Her service is impeccable and I swear I have never had anything like it before. She introduced me to all the fantastic flavors and recommendations I’ve come to love now and even showed me things I don’t think I would’ve ever tried before but came to love as well. She made me a lifelong customer and my boyfriend seriously doesn’t hear enough of how much I talk about her when I leave.
If it weren’t for her, I don’t think I would love honest eatery as much as I do and it makes me sad to know she is leaving soon. I wanted to write this review so any one who hasn’t had the amazing service by her could be graced by her personality before she’s gone. She had by far the best service I’ve ever had and as someone who works in the food industry as well, she is absolutely an angel. I don’t know how to end this other than, I hope anyone who visits this location has the same amazing experience as I do whenever I stop by 🙂
