I recently had the pleasure of dining at Honduras kitchen and what I can confidently say is the best Honduran restaurant in the states! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, instantly immersing us in the rich culture. The food was simply outstanding; each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors that showcased traditional Honduran cuisine.
The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who genuinely cared about our experience. My kids absolutely loved the place, especially the chocolate milk and Hondurian bread, which evoked so many cherished memories. It’s rare to find a restaurant that not only satisfies your hunger but also brings a sense of nostalgia and connection to a culture. I can’t recommend this spot enough—definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Honduran flavors!

The food here was really good that it made me homesick, and the service was amazing! It’s my first time here and they made me feel at home, I want to give a special shout out to Esther, she was always very helpful and kind asking us if everything was ok just to make sure we had the best experience here, definitely will come back next time I am around this area!

This is one of those rare places where everything just works perfectly. The food was flavorful and made with obvious care, and the menu offered enough variety to please everyone in our group. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, offering great recommendations without being pushy. The restaurant itself was spotless and inviting, with a relaxing vibe that made the whole evening smooth and enjoyable. Every detail felt polished, from the way the food was plated to the way the service was handled. I will absolutely be recommending this restaurant to others.

We preordered pork nacatamales for Christmas. Prepaid as well. When we got there, drove from the IE, we were told they sold our tamales and only had chicken. We did not want chicken. We paid for pork. No refund. We had to accept the chicken and they threw in some baleadas….smh not cool at all. Won’t be doing that again.

The food was really good I got the carne asada estilo ceiba the service was nice and friendly they also got a good options to drink to go with your food. Came here after work was always curious about this place and to be able to unwind on a nice comfortable couch to myself was a big plus. I would recommend this place to anyone that is familiar with Honduras food and also dont forget to support your local restaurants.

So after seeing a YouTuber who lives in Honduras try this place out I said why not!! Walking in , the place looks nice and cultural. The menu seemed pretty straightforward.
First I got a baleada regular. It was pretty good in price and taste was yummy. A bit small in size for the tortilla.
I had a banana soda. Which wasn’t soda ish at all. It was flat and sweet. Not sure if that’s how they should be, but wasn’t all that bad.
My main dish was the pollo guisado which was advertised as the special of the month. The rice was good. The cabbage salad was yummy. Beans were good. The chicken however had a sauce that made it taste like you were eating some type of seafood with a tomato sauce. Hopefully thats what the taste was intended to taste like otherwise I ate spoiled food haha.
My wife got carne Molida with tajadas. So, the carne molida (ground beef) was chilli or something to put on nachos. Just bad. The pickled onions had a good crunch but tasted super old and vinegary.
Just my honest opinion of the place. Definitely not going back. And not recommended.

I Visited this place from the Windy City, i was extremely Dissatisfied. The food is overpriced and the quality isn’t like people had told me. The chicken was too soggy, too much of the sauce.

This place is top tier! One of the best restaurants in Huntington Park without a doubt. The owner Jonathan was down to earth and made sure I got every shot of them making the amazing food. The staff is very sanitary and hard working. Even though Honduran food is very laborious, they bring it out pretty soon. Make sure you try the San Pedro, sopa de modongo, and rosquillas de miel. They kept on checking on us to see if we needed anything. This is definitely a restaurant you should check out for any occasion.

We got the plantain chips with ground beef and Honduran sauce with the pink pickled onions (super yum). We also ordered the special of the day that was 6 baleadas for $1.25 each which is a deal bc normal price one is $2.99. the tajaditas are a bit pricey if you compare to how much they cost in Honduras but since we out here in Cali it’s definitely worth the price. Overall I’m a happy catracha and I love coming here. Family has been coming since they first opened and now I bring my friends as an adult. Woa character growth.
