Fantastic local Bullard restaurant. The food is terrific and the staff is so nice. It has a great small town feel. Chances are, you will run into someone you know. The fried catfish sandwich was very good ans the grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty. The chili burger is terrific! The burgers are cooked just right and the buns are toasted and tasty. The chicken sandwich had a very tasty, grilled flavor. The fries are always very good.

So a friend of mine took me here since I had never heard of it, boy I am glad he did. I had the cheeseburger with bacon and cheese fries. So the hamburgers are made fresh, no frozen patties or flash frying here. It was wonderful. The bacon cheese fries were made with real cheese and bacon, no pour on cheese and bacon bits here! I’d of liked a little more bacon but hey, I love bacon! Plenty of food, I did not leave hungry. The service was very good, of course we were the only ones here so I got to take a lot of shots. I definitely recommend coming here, in fact I will go out of my way to now that I know about it. One of the locals best kept secrets.

The Hondo Burger is a little work of art, it’s what other burgers aspire to be—the burger on so many menu photos in lesser establishments that lamentably shames the food brought out from the kitchen—this burger succeeds where others fail and it fulfills the measure of its creation. I don’t know that I’ve had a better burger, equal perhaps in a handful of restaurants like the Mean Woman Grill in Levelland, but not better.

Hands down the best burger and fries around! Friendliest people too, we didn’t know what time they closed and went in right before they were gonna call it a night, they were more than happy to make us a burger and fries and insisted we eat it there! ( We took it to go ) I can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing food, but will make sure to go sooner! Lol

I loved the Hondo burger, but you’d better be hungry! Double meat, cheese, all the greens, plus jalapeños — really enjoyed it! Fries are perfect; crisp outside and tender inside. Several other menu items will require a return visit. Counter help was truly friendly. A good place for a tasty meal!

Really loved this place before they moved locations. We visited a few weeks ago and the person behind the counter talked very loudly on her phone the entire time we were there. It was around 15 minutes of listening to modifications needing to be made to the signage on the door. Would have been a good conversation to have made from a back office area instead of the dining room. The burgers were good, but the overall experience was sorely lacking. Perhaps takeout next time?
