Hot pot is a miracle of mankind yahll! You pick your raw ingredients and make the boil yourself , many varieties of meats shredded, lobster crab prawns shrimp ,eggs quail eggs, kale chouy , ramen mungbean noodles rice noodles ect and I still haven’t gone through it all , THEN there is the buffet generic sushi,EXCELLENT habachi!! And the regular menus of Chinese buffet sooooooo good though and Fresh!!! I went here with my family, and everything was okay at first until I started eating. When I opened the wrapped utensils, I noticed that the spoons were still oily — it seemed like they hadn’t been properly washed and might have been reused from a previous customer. I asked the staff to replace them, and they did bring me new spoons, but no one commented or apologized for the issue.

As for the hot pot buffet ingredients, I’m quite sure that many items weren’t properly cleaned. The vegetables and mushrooms still had dirt on them, and the crab wasn’t scrubbed or washed thoroughly — you could see residue all around the shell. I forgot to take a photo of the spoon, the cleanliness was very disappointing.

I definitely won’t be coming back.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The service stood out right away. It was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owner was working the floor, which added a personal touch, and the variety of food options was impressive. We went with the buffet, which featured all-you-can-eat hot pot, teppanyaki, sushi, salads, Chinese dishes, desserts, and fresh fruit.

The atmosphere was lively and upbeat—every table around us seemed to be enjoying themselves. There were two restroom options, and the one I used had quirky, fun signage that added a bit of charm. The sauce station was extensive, offering a wide range of flavors. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here: they had chopstick helpers for those unfamiliar, and clear signage explaining how to enjoy hot pot—perfect for first-timers who might be shy about asking.

I ordered a vegetarian hot pot, and our server went above and beyond. She walked me through the buffet, pointing out all the vegetarian options, and even brought a special vegetarian broth refill just for me. That level of care really stood out.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, which had a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. It was quite busy, but the flow of customers was well managed. There was a wide variety of food to choose from: fresh and cooked dishes, seafood, and various fruits and vegetables, suitable even for vegetarians. The staff were quick and polite, but what impressed me most was seeing the restaurant owner cleaning the tables after customers left – something you don’t often see. Despite being tired from managing customers, serving food, handling payments, and cleaning, she always had a smile on her face and was enthusiastic to help whenever I needed anything. The way she and her husband supported each other in managing the restaurant truly impressed me.

I think that for a hot place this is definitely one a win. The pricing very reasonable and comparable to other places I’ve been to. They did have some unique meats that I have never seen before at a hot pot place so that was pretty cool. I ended up getting there late an hour before closing and they were very welcoming. Do note that at 9:55 they are taking away all the food. I saw they had snails there, and I didn’t know how to eat them. The hostess showed me how. It was very kind of her. They had a lot of cooked options. If I was going to come back here again, I wouldn’t have paid extra for the sushi. It honestly wasn’t good, there was not a good selection of fish, and I just think for the price, it’s not worth it.

My wife and I went here for the first time today. The food was very solid. The sauce bar was an amazing added benefit and it was an overall great experience. I wish we would’ve had some explanation or pointers prior to being thrust into the whole experience, as we were first timers, but other than that it was solid. We definitely will be back!

The food is awesome. Great selection, they have everything. They’re crab legs are a little small, but good quality. Everything is good quality. They keep things very clean.
Some of the servers don’t like to have to get you special things, but they do.
Their prices for kids have gotten out of control. However, it’s still worth it because my kids can eat their weight!

This is Asian Buffet Restaurant. Mainly Chinese food, Sushi and Hot Pot. The prices are different. The cheapest option is Chinese food buffet which is $13.99, sushi buffet is $23.99. The most expensive one is $27.99 and you can eat all in the restaurant including Hot Pot, Sushi and Chinese food. The Hot Pot is so good. I recommend to order spicy broth. The sushi are also delicious. There are also sea foods, vegetables, mushrooms and sliced meats to put into your Hot Pot. I didn’t eat cakes, fruits and Cheese. The reason I went here was to eat Hot Pot. The only downside is you have to make your own spicy sauce and I don’t know how to make it properly. The taste was not good. I would love to come here again as I think it’s worth it even though it seems like a bit pricey.

Its an usual hot pot and sushi buffet place. I have been Legends of Asia in Blue Springs Missouri near Kansas City which is I believe one of the best in class for these type of restaurants. If Legends of Asia is 9/10, Homey Hot Pot is 4/10.

Look, I have gone to this restaurant nearly about 50 times in three years and I love going there to eat. But one thing I holler dislike is the woman who works there. I believe she is the wife of the restaurant when I walked in with my two children see apparently tried to tell me to pay for my food before I can sit down, and I got very disappointed in her remarks, and I told her That I have come here multiple times to support you and your business and I will not be paying before I eat so what I’m gonna do and when my kids are gonna do, we are going to sit down and go to the buffet eat our food and I will pay when I am done as I did.
