We ordered a large pizza- half bacon and pepperoni, half EXTRA (key word ‘extra’) pepperoni. I’ll let the picture speak for itself. It was also really doughy, as if the dough wasn’t prepared properly. (I used to work in a pizza restaurant, so I know) The large says it come with 16 slices- we got 8. So they didn’t cut it properly either. We also ordered wings. Which were not cooked all the way through. We had to throw them in our oven when we got home. They were not safe to eat the way they sent them home with us. Extremely disappointed. Will not be returning. Not even the same style pizza! We want the old owners back! Food was amazing then. What a shame. You should strongly consider renaming the restaurant ….

Currently eating at Hometown Pizza with my 6 year old son and we ordered the fried clam strips dinner and Kevin the owner went out of his way to welcome us to town and also made a child size portion since my son won’t eat an adult dinner and priced it accordingly which was very reasonable. First time here and it definitely WON’T be my last. My son and I have just found our go-to dinner spot. Oh and did I mention within 10-15 of us ordering our food was served perfectly. GREAT JOB KEVIN AND TEAM!!!! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!!!

My grilled chicken salad from Hometown was delicious! Loved the oil & vinegar Italian dressing. Very good size portion too. Staff was super friendly. Will definately be back. Thank you!!

Such a disappointment for 30 bucks… so I have to say the food was okay it looks like it’s a huge salad but it was really fluffed with just lettuce two tomatoes two cucumber in a couple green peppers.. the pizzas were just okay nothing spectacular. Also I’m pretty sure I was overcharged I was going to place this order on the slice app but I couldn’t for some reason get my payment to go through so I called in the order they didn’t tell me the price over the phone but when I got there they explain that it was $30 why would it be cheaper on a website I don’t know.. But I most likely will not be going back again food was such a disappointment for that price.

Just ordered a whole Tuna grinder. All I taste is bread, hardly any tuna. Never thought someone could mess up a tuna grinder but here it is. I give it 2 stars because the bread does taste good.

Hometown Pizza is definitely my go-to pizza restaurant in CT. Coming from NJ, I’m so picky when it comes to pizza, but Hometown’s food is so delicious. They have excellent service, and great selections!

Ordered to thin crust pizzas. There was NO crust around pizza. Cheese to the end. Like a frozen pizza. Totally disappointed. No flavor sorry. Nothing to hold slice with.

I don’t like writing unpleasant reviews, but I had to. Now I remember why I haven’t been there in over a year or more. Pizza was awful, will never order from there again. Dough was tough, I got an onion and mushroom. There were like 6 mushroom pieces in all, and one thinly sliced piece of red onion on each piece of pizza. The onions were practically burnt and tasted disgusting.
The folks at the register were cordial and pleasant. That’s the best part of the experience, otherwise you read about the rest.

Ordered take-out for the first time today (they just opened on 1/17/24 under new ownership). The food was amazing! I ordered the turkey club. The bacon was nice and crispy, the lettuce was fresh and there was a lot of turkey. I will definitely eat here again.

Everything ordered should be less than 1 star. Onion ring appetizers were a soggy, oil soaked mess. Pizza quality was equivalent to that of a frozen pizza – actually, I’ve had better frozen pizzas. And the chicken parm dinner was tasteless and dry. The cheese tasted like plastic. Dinner was delivered without the salad. What a horrible experience. I will never order from this establishment again – by far it’s the worst tasting food around!
