WOW Hometown Prime is awesome our meal was perfect and amazing and it came out right the first time I enjoyed the chicken Alfredo with a baked potato the potatoes was cooked prefer perfectly. My wife had the surf and turf, shrimp and fillet, medallions, shrimp and grits and not forget the very very nice salad bar. Their desserts are very delicious as well. I recommend Hometown prime to anyone that’s got a hungry spot that needs filling. I’m coming back to try the classic prime rib next very delicious.

I would compare the steak and seasoning to that of a chain restaurant. With that said, the steaks are a litter overpriced. I ordered a medium rare signature ribeye for $36 and it came out medium well. Seasoning wasn’t anything to write home about. Steaks are thin which may be why it was overcooked so easily.

I love supporting local businesses and definitely a local steakhouse. The food was fantastic and service was great. Server didn’t skip a beat. The place felt a little crammed but very very clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking and kind of bummed I didn’t try any desert because I was full after my meal.
I didn’t like that they automatically added the gratuity to my bill. I know that I could have added additional gratuity, if I want, but when you automatically add it to my bill, I just feel like I just got strong-armed out of a tip, so, personally, I really dislike that practice. Then again, to be fair, people have a habit of under-tipping or leaving no tip at all and that is completely wrong. I also inquired about the $7.10 fee on my bill that was unexplained. The company they use to process their credit card payment charges like 3% of the bill to use a credit card or debit card. I was also surprised that they didn’t sell alcohol, not sure if it’s regulatory with the town or they just opt out of it, but a nice cool beer with my steak would have been ideal.
Overall, I like the establishment and again, the employees were great, and you know how heavy I am with the customer experience, and food was great, so, I definitely would return and recommend this place.

WOW! Just WOW! This place is amazing! The atmosphere is superb! To have something like this in a small town is fantastic! Very nice plane where you can dress up or down. The menu has a great variety and reasonable prices. The sweet tea is some of the best around and the strawberry cheesecake was divine! I had the classic ribeye which was cooked perfectly! If I had to critique one thing, it would be that the steak really didn’t have much flavor but the cut was great, it was super tender, and cooked perfectly! I just thew some salt and pepper on it and enjoyed it as is! They have a salad bar that has a great variety on it. It has shredded lettuce which is my favorite! Can’t wait to go back and try something else! They have a brown sugar pork chop that looks and sounds delish! So glad this place has reopened and the owners spared no expenses in making the new building so hospitable! Make plans to go and support these fine folks!

Hidden gem in the country that grills up one fine steak! Our friends took us here while camping nearby at Roosevelt SP and said it’s the best steak dinner around. After eating that 13oz ribeye I have to believe it, it was delicious! Comfy cabin like dining room & friendly staff. The dinners come with the salad bar and one side, so you won’t be leaving hungry.

We had the Surf n Turf. Which is a cheesy polenta with bacon, served with 4 grilled shrimp and 2 small medallions of steak. It came with a choice of a side, grilled toast and a trip to the salad bar.
Everything was cooked wonderfully, however, the flavor would have been greatly enhanced by using butter instead of margarine.

Very friendly staff and the steaks we’re 10/10, no sauce needed, juicy, tender, and cooked perfect at medium rare like I asked. Will be coming back.

The receptionist was professional and friendly. The waitress was one of the best I’ve encountered. She was GREAT. The manager came around making sure everything was to our liking and invited us to come back. Great Southern Hospitality. Highly recommended.
