Something has definitely changed since I ordered a take out salad from here the last time. Not only was it half the size, nothing about it was the same. It used to have a whole hard boiled egg cut in half, cherry tomatoes, a lettuce mixture, bacon, cheese and potato sticks. The picture on the website even shows such a salad. What I got was lettuce, which was mostly the core and the bitter center, chopped tomato, a few chopped pieces of egg, I saw about two shreds of cheese and see if you can find the in the picture. The few potato sticks were soft. I very rarely give a bad review but this is just ridiculous. Do better Hometown.

It’s no one’s fault but the new owners. They have turned a wonderful business into crap shoot. They changed everything everybody loved about this establishment. The sauce, the dough, the menu items, the quality, the atmosphere. Within a few months of switching hands it went drastically down hill. I absolutely loved the pizza dough. It was crispy and wonderful. I had family that would come in from out of state, and the first place they wanted to go eat was Hometown. When they came in after it switched hands they were EXTREMELY disappointed. And I felt that completely. They’ve taken away items that are fan favorites. They have taken TVs out of the restaurants. They’ve stopped selling beer (I don’t drink, but a lot of people do). If there was a business model on “what not to do,” they could write a book on it. Hometown Pizza went from a thriving Kentucky favorite to a complete and total disappointment within a year’s time. I really wouldnt waste my time here. And to say that I’m disappointed would be a complete and total understatement!

Family restaurant. We are from out of town so we ordered a small buffalo chicken and a small Hometown Special. We got one with the thin crispy crust and one with the thicker crust. Also an order of the Deluxe garlic bread with two cheeses. Everything was really good. Thin crust was crispy. Would definitely stop by if in town again!

The pizza was delicious! I never reached for any cheese or pepper flakes and that’s unusual for me. Beer cheese pretzels, Maui Maui pizza, meats pizza and their new hot honey (beer cheese base) pizza!! It was incredibly good!

My husband and I both ordered individual pork sausage pizzas. I ordered mine with light sauce and light toppings because Hometown tends to be very generous with their toppings. Our pizzas came out looking exactly the same, having the same amount of pork sausage topping, however, mine did have the light sauce. When the bill came, they added a .75 charge for light topping!!! (that I did not get) Why would you charge a person more for less meat and then go ahead and give them the same amount of meat???? Absolutely ridiculous!!

Excellent place Shelby was very helpful over phone as I placed order, I HAD THE SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS WITH MEAT SAUCE, GARLIC BREAD AND HOUSE SALAD. Spaghetti was perfecto Al dente Excellent meatballs were good and hot, However THE house salad was ALITTLE Skimpy. BUT EVERYTHING AS A WHOLE WAS GREAT. You can’t go wrong here, price was surprisingly fair n food was well worth the price, Spent 25.00 BUT ATTAINED DOUBLE ORDERS OF PASTA N SALADS AND GARLIC BREAD. AND ARNOLD PALMERS, TO GO. GREAT PLACE!! I SUGGEST IT HIGHLY

We have purchased the Hometown special for several years but the last two have been lousy. The once was perfect crust is now soggy even though we pick it up right out of the oven. The sauce has been loaded up in spots and not evenly spread and the most recent the cheese the same way, in clumps. Quality needs improvement.

We stopped by this place for a lunch on our way home from Louisville. Found it off a google search and we were pleasantly surprised. We had excellent service. The loaded fries app was great and the pizza had a good flavor. If you’re in the area give them a shot.

Came here this year on 30 March to get some dinner before continuing my road trip west. La Grange is usually my first major stop along the way to watch trains. Great first time experience here; got the pizza and spaghetti/meatballs. Good staff, clean restaurant, and good atmosphere; would definitely come back again.
