Some of the BEST homemade food we have ever had!! The peach tea is as amazing as everyone says! The homemade rolls with that strawberry jam…there’s nothing like it! The service was great! Our server Anna was the absolute sweetest person you could ever meet! The ambiance made it feel like you were in someone’s kitchen. The mural in the dining room is so cool! 1000000/10 can’t wait to come back again!

What a wonderful place to discover off the beaten path. The food and service were spectacular! The meatloaf was moist, dense, and full of flavor, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were delicious. But the best part was the chicken pot pie soup, as we decimated the cup of soup in no time, and we can’t wait to come back to try a full pot pie. And the grilled cheese was delicious, as well, and the homemade rolls with their own strawberry jam was a delight. Prices are very reasonable and service is so friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by for an early dinner after driving around Lancaster. Service was fast and friendly and the food was good. The roast beef was very tender and well seasoned and so was the half rack of ribs. It was fall off the bone tender and delicious.

This was exactly what we were looking for when visiting the area, especially Amish County!!
I think the food is good but mostly it is already pre made and warm in the big warmer. Everything is served in a huge portion. I liked chicken and dumplings the most. The ribs were okay (special menu that day) they seemed to have been sitting in the warmer for too long and dried out a bit. Got some ham balls (1st time to eat ham in the ball shape). However, all side dish were so good, macaroni salad, fries, coleslaw was so delicious. And the service was perfect, all attentions from them were excellent. We would visit again to try the other options!

First time dining here, and it definitely won’t be our last! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed—the place was absolutely spotless, one of the cleanest restaurants we’ve ever seen. That alone set a great tone.

Our server, Anna, was fantastic—attentive, courteous, and genuinely kind. She made us feel right at home.

We started with the cheddar soup, which was piping hot and bursting with flavor—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt. For our main dishes, we had the roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, and a side of corn. Everything was rich, comforting, and cooked to perfection. The meatloaf was another standout—so tender and packed with flavor. We also tried the chicken wrap, which was fresh, tasty, and incredibly satisfying.

Every dish arrived hot and full of flavor. You can tell there’s real care put into the food here. We left full and very happy. Huge thanks to the team for such a wonderful experience!

We take the long, non-Philly route between our house and NJ kids, and now we’ll be adding this as our usual stop for sustenance on the return. Everything was fresh and delicious. The home fries were amazing. The homemade strawberry jam was delightful. The entire place, including the restroom, was clean and simple. And the coffee was not bitter. Now to go back for lunch!

I’m soooooo excited! With the demise of many of the traditional, old school Amish restaurants and smorgasbords, my taste buds have been saved! On a recent visit to Lancaster I was determined to find some real Amish food. My wife and I came across this gem after scouring Google. It was a Friday night so I ordered the special Amish Wedding Dinner. The mashed potatoes were heaven, the dressing was moist and flavorful and I enjoyed the cream of celery. My wife ordered the open roast beef and it was delicious and a very generous portion. The staff were polite, attentive and very sweet. We can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. If they added a broasted or fried chicken to the menu I’d probably move next door so I could eat there three meals a day!
