I really wanted to give this 5 stars, because the smoothies and açaí bowls looked so appealing. And the place is such a perfect location. But when I got inside, I was very disappointed.
First of all when I asked a few questions about what they recommended and what was in the smoothies and how they tasted, the person serving me acted really annoyed. She seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered and just had an attitude.
Second of all when I got my order, the smoothie was great, but the açaí bowl was so-so. They don’t include granola in it and it’s an extra charge, and when I mentioned there’s no granola, the person got annoyed excepting that I know there’s an up charge.
I decided to go back a second time, since I was craving a smoothie. I shouldn’t have gone back, because it was just a repeat of before. I thought maybe with different people working I’d have a better experience, but still unfriendly people who were bored and annoyed. I ordered a medium smoothie and was given a small. When I corrected my order, the person rolled their eyes and looked so ticked off.
Please don’t come here. Not a happy place.

I absolutely love the Hometown Hero Smoothie. Not only is the smoothie amazing but so is the customer service. Every single time I visit I am greeted with a smile by whoever is working and they are always very polite. I’m also a huge fan of their homemade peanut butter!

Great smoothes. Great juices! Very friendly service and quick too. I did think the drinks are just a little bit on the expensive side based on the fact that we own and operate a traveling organic smoothie business but then again… overhead is very expensive too and all the ingredients were amazingly fresh, the flavors and tastes are exactly and precisely as described and the employees are extremely friendly, happy and helpful. We’re very happy that we found this shop. Please do make it your stop. It’s one of the best I’ve been to.

I go here every single chance I get. Their juices and smoothies are crave worthy and I adore the artisan toasts. I’ve done the juice cleanse twice so far and can’t wait until I get to do it again. They only use the freshest ingredients and carry products from the best local companies, all of which are served with a smile. This place has the cutest decor! I love how all of the products displayed are from other local businesses. Its shows that the owners care and are involved with their commumity. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have so many yummy smoothies and juices to choose from and the food is unique and delicious.
I got one of the artisan toasts and a ginger shot and I felt ready to take on anything that day!

Hi! 2 points here – 1. Customer service is nothing to phone home about, I greeted both employees and they stared blankly. 2. Food was pricy but so is every açaí bowl- the problem with theirs is that the bowl was gross. Base was not great, strawberries were frozen and when I asked for granola, they sprinkled a dusting of granola. Anywho – approach with caution.

I am 26 weeks pregnant and know that bee pollen is not safe for use during pregnancy. I ordered one of the juices and asked to modify by not adding in bee pollen. The woman who made the juice added it anyway. I told her I was sorry, but bee pollen is unsafe during pregnancy and asked her to remake the juice. She argued with me that it was perfectly safe. She also said that she was 3 moths pregnant and uses it all the time. First of all, you shouldn’t have to justify why you don’t want a certain ingredient. Secondly, it is dangerous that employees don’t know about the ingredients they are using and potentially harmful effects. I worry other pregnant women might possibly be harmed by misinformation from employees here.
To add insult to injury the açaí bowl was not even good!

First time coming here and was not disappointed! Best avocado toast I have had, with the freshest ingredients and the harvest smoothie bowl was a perfect fall treat! If you’re in the area definitely give this place a try!
