I got the Italian and this is one of the best sandwiches I have had. Great sub, great soup (broccoli and cheddar), and really nice owner. Definitely will come again whenever I get a chance. Real American hospitality and overall atmosphere.

I was driving by and randomly noticed this spot, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and shown the menu right away. I ordered the Italian with a side of soup and it was absolutely delicious — 10/10.

I ordered a half sub, and they still gave me a whole one. Super generous. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely a hidden gem and I’ll be back.

The fire alarm club was excellent – just make sure you get a bunch of napkins. The guy working the shop was very friendly.
Heads up: the bathroom is the building just next door and you order on a tablet.

We stopped here on our way from Michigan to Florida. We went here on a hunch and SO glad that we did. The owner was super kind and the food was amazing! I got the Italian sub minus Italian dressing and man did it hit the spot. Loved the little mom and pop vibe amd all of the military decor. He informed us that %5 of every check goes to a meal for a veteran or first responder. How can you not love that? We will make it a point to stop here any time we travel through Tennessee. Southern hospitality is a real thing. 10/10

My son and I are in town for a basketball tournament and we ate here. These are some of the most delicious subs we’ve ever had. The toasted focaccia bread is amazing and the sandwiches are loaded with meat. He got the Italian and I got the fire alarm. He would have preferred the sauce to be a little bit thicker but he definitely would get the sandwich again. The bacon habanero jam on my sandwich was so tasty. The prices are very reasonable.

We absolutely loved this sub shop! We stumbled upon it while in the Arts and Crafts Community and knew we had to come back to try it! We happened to go when the owner was there and had a great time chatting with him! We tried two different sandwiches (the italian and four cheese grilled cheese) and the mac and cheese! All were absolutely perfect!

These were the absolute best soups and sandwiches my family and I have ever had. We got a variety of the menu and everyone loved what they got. The bread on the subs was so tasty and had just the right crisp. The grilled cheese was so cheesy, the broccoli cheddar soup too. We also got a gluten free grilled cheese for my aunt, and the owner made sure to clean off and sanitize the sandwich press to accommodate for her Celiac Disease. The owner was such a pleasure to talk to, he told us about his history with the restaurant, and it’s clear he is a genuine and nice man.

Wow, these are the best sandwiches I’ve had in Pigeon Forge. The Italian sub was very flavorful and delicious as well as the firehouse sub. The chicken bacon ranch was also amazing. The sides of broccoli cheddar soup, red pepper soup, and Mac n cheese were also very flavorful. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

Owner was so kind and patient with us and our children. Food was served very quickly. There is a sandwich shop in Hawaii I compare all sandwiches to, but Hometown Hero’s has quickly taken my number one spot for the world’s best sandwiches. The bread, the sauce, the meat. So good. We live in Texas, and I will be back for an Italian sub as soon as we can sneak away just my husband and I. God bless yall.
