We decided to make a trip to try the new restaurant and they are busy but a good thing. You might need to wait but the food is worth it the burgers are yummy and thick and good. I had a foot long hot dog and very big and yummy and they have fries and onion rings. Waiting is worth the wait for good food… if willing sit at the bar.

New restaurant which replaced a similar one. Located in Palmyra VA behind Dollar General. We went around 3PM to avoid the lunch crowd which we understand was pretty busy. We got two burgers, drinks and a basket of fries The food was hot and delicious. I have provided some photos which includes the menu. This is a good burger joint with other sandwiches and sides. They are offering a Sunday only breakfast for now and will expand if there is a demand. Owned by nice and friendly young couple supported by good staff who are friendly also. They really cleaned up the previous owners place and the place looks nice. Gone is the loud music, you can actually have a conversation. They have applied for an ABC license. See my photos and give them a try. I think you will enjoy it.

Opening Saturday nite! Just not going to give it any less than 5 stars ! Here is what ito work on !! 52 minute wait ! They were working very hard and kitchen crew was funny ! Hamburger hot but greasy! Bottom bun very hard but top bun soft ! I have never seen that ! No seasoning on burger ! Hotdog foot long was gigantic ! Fries were good but basket way too big ! The crowd was blue collar and lake people ! Very disorganized but not a panic feeling! Service was a little spotty but got better when our food got there ! There is room for improvement , but the people who read this review will not be regulars ! This is blue collar food 101! Also no one seems to be in charge ! No one directing people to their tables ! I think they will find their way , but today was deer in the headlights ! The burger cook was killing it ! Laser focus ! The fry cook was cracking jokes. ! I wish them luck ! 4 percent for credit cards !

Great casual burger joint. All the food was good and decently seasoned, especially compared to Blue 53, and the servers were very attentive. They are still in their second opening week but are doing well so far. Was busy when we came for lunch and it didnt take too long for a full restaurant. I will say the big thing is making sure someone double checks the food. Have gone twice and both times things were forgotten on the burgers. They took it off the bill, and its not a huge deal as they are still ironing out the kinks, but it can be a problem going forward if things are consistently missing/wrong. But still definitely worth going for the food! Looking forward to trying the breakfast this sunday!

I LOVE little burger places! (Small burgers, not a small place. ) And the fries were SO good! I might need a basket next time, lol. They even have some outside the norm soda (grape, cheerwine, orange, for example), which I’m so grateful for, and unique milkshake flavors (banana, peanut butter, pineapple, for example).

On the positive side, good energy at the location, and service went well. The food could use a little work to make it worth the relatively high cost for what you receive. The burgers are okay, but the price feels high for what you receive, and to pay such a high amount for a side of fries makes it all cost prohibitive. The fries are okay, but not something to brag about. The BLT sandwich definitely needs some work. It is like putting Wonder bread, untoasted, over the BLT ingredients. I would think at least toasting the bread would make for a better taste and presentation. And again, cost is a factor here as well.
I also think the menu being so limited to mainly burgers with a few other things would limit the amount of visits a family would make, as one only needs that type of burger every so often.
But if everyone else visiting is super happy with it, that is great. I think there is good intention behind the business.

I wanted to love this place, but it fell short of my expectations.
I will say that it was very clean. No greasy table tops like Danny’s was at the end.
The burger was about half the size that you would expect.
The buns were cold. Like right out of the refrigerator cold.
The “basket” of fries was barely larger than a regular size.
I thought my burger tasted good… Except for the hair that I pulled out. They did make me another one, and even though I asked for the buns to be grilled, they were still cold.
I hope they can work out the issues.

Great value on food and Great tasting food. Anyone doing below a four stars in the first week they are open don’t understand restaurants. They are finding their groove and it’s a great little diner.

Not happy with breakfast only on Sunday
Sat way too long waiting to get attention
Had to ask for the menu
25 min to get food
Had to ask for silverware
Had to ask for refill
Pancakes are so dry they fell into pieces you could not eat with a fork
Had to ask for syrup and butter (2x)
No jellies offered or on table for toast
Syrup in small containers and had to ask for extra
Messed up order
Busy
I counted 10 employees (some busy, some not)
Why are there gambling machines in a restaurant?
I do not see this place lasting very long without some major changes, sadly they missed the simple things
