The food was absolutely amazing, the service was great and the old time feel of the diner was fabulous. We would definitely eat here again!

Really great little classic diner. There’s usually a wait for tables but the counter seems to have more seating. There is a large room in the back too. The food seems to be consistently good and service is great.

Sausage gravy wasn’t as good as I hoped for. No flavor. My friends cornbeef hash wasn’t really cooked. Not crispy at all. I miss all the neat paraphernalia. New owners do not display anything. Thier choice of course, but it didn’t feel welcoming. Only my opinion. Service was excellent.

It was very busy when we came in and no one acknowledged us as we waited to be seated.
Ordered the eggs benedict classic, included 2 poached eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato and bacon, grilled english topped with hollandaise sauce and hubby ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Also ordered chocolate chip pancakes as well as the banana french toast which was topped off with bananas foster sauce and whipped cream. All very delicious! I also loved seeing how each booth had a mini juke box!

When we walked into the diner, staff looked up at us and looked away. My husband & I stood there for about five minutes, & actually talked about leaving and going somewhere else when staff finally acknowledged us, and told us a booth would be ready shortly. The waitress sat down asked us if we’d like something to drink brought it back asked us if we were ready to order and left. She never smiled. She never introduced yourself. On the positive side my pancakes were absolutely fantastic, my husband‘s eggs Irish on the other hand were only OK, the hash was actually quite dry.

4.2! Good breakfast spot with good portions! I think the total bill for 2 was somewhere between 30-40$. We cleaned our plates. It wasn’t the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was certainly a delicious one. I’m from Worcester,MA so i wouldn’t add this place on my worth the drive spots as it almost 4hrs from me. If I lived in the area I would probably be a regular customer. I’ll definitely be sure to stop in again if I’m ever in the area. Thanks for the meals!

Great pancakes and eggs if you’re in Ashby or New Ipswich I would recommend hometown dinner for breakfast brunch and brinner (breakfast dinner).
