Dining room is pretty well spaced tho. We got a booth and our server wasn’t too far behind.
One observation i made quickly, was a full Dining room but staff seemed a little short. I counted 2 taking orders, 1 runner and 2 assistants on the floor and guy picking up plates.
Our order came with a 5 minute delay with 1 of our entrees. A bit of a bummer.
My wife got a waffle, a bit too chewy according to her, I thought it was ok. My daughter got the pancakes, which she liked. I had a bite, i too liked the size and flavor. My only suggestion would be to not use plastic cups for syrup, although im sure its a cost thing.
I ordered the fried pork tenderloin, a delight. Perfectly fried, crisp but tender. Gravy a perfect accent to the steak. The breakfast potatoes/home fries didn’t look great but actually tasted quite good. I finished every bite.
The experience as a whole, was decent and about what i expected. My only gripe was the service was spotty. Not the servers fault, as the dining room was full and she was moving the whole time we were there.
Would I return?? Yes. The good definitely outweighs the negatives
Great pricing, great food and great staff. We will be back again for sure! I added current menu pricing and we ordered chicken fried steak and fried pork cutlets. Both tasted amazing!
The food was excellent! They did their hash browns exactly right—crispy and golden—and my husband said his egg sandwich was outstanding. I just had sides of hash browns, sausage, and fruit, and the fruit cup was surprisingly generous, with fresh strawberries, bananas, and blueberries.
Service was great, and we got seated right away. Everything about it was friendly, tasty, and easy. I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you’re passing through!
Everything was tasty, except when you looked inside the Ruben there was very very little meat. I regret not getting a picture, but it was someone else’s entree (and they were not impressed). The peach cobbler was good, but very very little peaches (mainly a cake more than anything). Service was good, everyone is friendly.
Would try this one more time and tey other things. Definitely not bad, but not a OMG place.
Excellent Service, great food, a warm and cozy atmosphere.
There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but that is a good thing. The country fried steak was excellent and the pancakes were light and fluffy. We will be coming back that this little gem of a restaurant.
