Very cute little cafe in downtown Sumner.
Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious I ordered the B.A.C omelette.

Food was good. A little bland. But pancakes were yummy, the bacon and bleu burger was a little overpowering but still super good! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, but when busy it can get a little cramped. Staff was very friendly and very welcoming. Pictures is the pancake combo with sausage, the Bacon and Bleu Burger, and a side of Potatoes. And their specialty’s.

I ordered the corned beef, on the menu it states it is premium corned beef with a price tag of $20. When i received the plate of food, i got a disgusting looking lump of canned corn beef hash that had been browned on the outside, lukewarm in the center and it was disgusting. I discussed my displeasure with the gross flavor (equating the flavor to that of canned cat food) of the corned beef with my waitress, she went and got the owner who told me that it was canned corned beef hash but of the “premium” variety. I had explained that nowhere on the menu does the corned beef hash state that it is canned to which the owner replied that it does. I then asked the owner for the menu to take another look and not to my surprise, the menu in fact does not state that the corned beef is canned or to which brand it is, only that it is “premium”. When i pointed out this fact, the owner told me that “i could have just asked my server” and that “most people prefer the canned corn beef” to which my response was that premium implies a higher quality food than canned (especially from a restaurant). She responded with “its premium canned corn beef” and repeated her other statements.

She told me that she had taken the price of the corned beef off of my bill which i graciously accepted however, i will not support a local business that feeds their customers canned food and labels it as “premium” on the menu whilst also including a larger price tag than the average breakfast meal. She made no promises to ammend her menu which has me wondering how many other low quality foods they serve on the menu hidden behind key words like “premium” or “fresh”..

This felt like false advertisement and the whole dining experience was ruined by the owner herself. I was a return customer before today however, after my interaction with the owner, that will be the last time she receives another dollar from me. I dont care how many people “prefer” canned food, these people are paying good money to go out for a meal, the least you could do is be transparent with them on your menu.

Small little cafe on Main St in Sumner. Driving one day and found this lil spot. Love the home-y feel to it. Staff are very friendly. Portions are big and prices are so reasonable. Their cinnamon rolls are delicious and omg the size of it…definitely a must share. They have a small sitting area at the front of the Cafe and dogs are allowed…that’s a plus!

What a cozy cute establishment! We went for breakfast, and was not disappointed. They sat us (6) right away upstairs with no wait. The hostess was friendly, and the waitress as well. Food was excellent! I had the seafood Benedict. Unbelievable! The crab cake is big and flavorful, the egg cooked perfect, and the hollandaise sauce was great as well! Everyone was happy with their plate, and would come here again.

I have to agree with other reviewers that service has declined under new ownership. On one visit, the server pointed out that the cook had not adhered to my request for no butter on my toast but made no effort to remedy the situation. On my most recent visit, server was unsure which was Diet and suggested we test it and swap. Seriously? Server did not bring cutlery with our food, and drinks were not refilled until we were almost finished eating. It was late afternoon, and they were not busy. Food was fine. I will not be back as I refuse to pay a mandatory 20% gratuity for a party of six or me. That is a fee, not a gratuity.

Visited this small cafe 6 times during a 2 week long business trip. Always had a warm welcome and great service. Just a few of the items I sampled: Top notch club sandwich, crispy and delicious chicken fried steak, and a chef salad that did not disappoint! Definitely a charming place!

Today my best friend and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and this cafe. We had the french toast breakfast and pancakes with eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns on the side. They served us maple syrup that was very warm- very thoughtful and tasted awesome! The food quality is amazing and will certainly be coming back. We were also sat promptly, had the option to choose where to sit, and received our food quickly. Great area to explore and spend a day window-shopping.

We went for breakfast on Friday morning. We got there around 9:30am. They were pretty busy but we got seated right away. The menu has a lot of options that all sounded good. We both ordered off the smaller portion menu. Shown is a half omelet, it comes with 3 toppings. It was hands down the best omelet I have had in a long time. The sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We will be back!
