Good food with decent portions at good prices. The restaurant is mostly clean — our biggest complaint by far is there is non-existent service. After we ordered our server like never came back. Apparently she dropped off our check almost immediately but didn’t say anything to the table. We were without drinks almost the entire time and even though we told her we would probably be adding something to our order, we had to hunt her down 20 minutes after finishing our food to add the items we wanted.

Located just south of Jamestown Tennessee, Hometown Cafe’ is your classic small town diner/cafe.
Service was speedy, friendly and professional. Food is really, really good! Breaded tenderloin was a nice surprise in the south. Fried bologna was good, and the fried green tomatoes were excellent.
If you like comfort food in a clean, comfortable atmosphere, you’ll like this place!

I thought it was an interesting place it did have charm I just wasn’t crazy about the menu but in my opinion you would have to go and experience it yourself My group had the dinners this is one place that I will not be going back again I was fair with the three stars only because other people need the sample it and I’m sure for some it’s great but it wasn’t for me
