The best weekend drive in the countryside and found this gem. Locally owned and ingredients straight from the farm to the kitchen. Their cappuccino tastes great. Their freshly made world-class pizza and soup of the day warmth my heart and soul. A must have in demand delicious cinnamon rolls and ginger snap.It was a fantastic experience. Their Baquette baked fresh daily, made with unbleached organic flour with plain herb, garlic and onion. The lady was so nice and friendly. Cash only transactions as it is independent business out the countryside.

Saw a sign while driving by and decided to check it out. I m glad I did! The pizza was really good, perfect amount of toppings imo. Great way to end a day of hiking in such a beautiful area.

Amazing view from their outside eating spot. Got a yummy homemade pizza (all they are serving at this time, summer ’21). Appreciated the friendly service & the good pizza so thank you!

Great pizza with a variety of topping choices and good ice cream too. Friendly service, clean bathrooms, and surrounded by beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. Great for a quick fuel up before a hike! Pizza might take around 20 minutes to bake as it’s made to order.

This is by far the best pizza from Darrington, to Arlington!
All fresh organic materials, fresh home made dough, homemade sausage and sauce, that makes all the difference!
This place rocks and prices can’t be beat.
A large pizza is a monster and I will be going back frequently!
Prices are far better than Varsity Pizza and the pizzas the best yet!

Really nice elderly lady with run down small restaurant. We loved the Hansen’s pop that came out of a fridge. But the pizza wasn’t very good, barely edible.

This place is the epitome of a small town, locally owned family restaurant. Been there for decades. Good pizza and nice rustic outdoor eating area. A Must have Small town experience

We stopped by because we saw it on Google. It had open signs on. When we went inside we didn’t see anyone in there. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke, everything was covered in paperwork, and there was no food to be seen. It didn’t feel very open and definitely didn’t feel like a friendly place we wanted to eat at so we immediately left. Not sure what was going on exactly.

Great cafe! My friends and I found the Hometown Bakery Cafe this morning as we passed through Darrington. After two frigid nights at the Gorge Lake campground by Diablo, we were really hoping for a great meal. The cafe didn’t fail; we all devoured our soups, salads, sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls. The service (by the couple that must own the cafe) was fine and friendly. With a couple fresh-baked baguettes tucked under arms, we made our way back to Seattle. Unfortunately, we are sad to inform the deli marts of Darrington that we no longer require their services.

Disappointing..apparently the baker decided not to bake the day we visited. We had a sandwich which was good. Restaurant looked a bit run down. Several people came in while we ate and asked about cinnamon rolls.
