We specialize in what we call homestyle cooking, the type of cooking we like to think of as food you would get when you get done playing outside and momma yells kids it’s dinner time and you come in and see Oxtails, Rice and Peas, Cabbage or Collard Greens, but ya baby sister doesn’t eat that so mom made her stuffed salmon with jumbo lump crab meat with 5 cheese baked mac with the cheese all bubbling on the top with some fresh cut sweet potatoes topped with homemade caramel and it’s not too sweet but sticky at the same time…

Its located inside of a lounge. So you have to sit on lounge style seats with coffee style tables to eat. If you have kids you have to come before a certain time bc once the club part is opening you have to be 21 to sit and eat. The salmon bites were really good. The candied yams were delicious! Mac n cheese was dry and bland and cold. Mac n cheese balls didnt really have any flavor. The chicken wings were not that good and the greens were just ok.

Worth every penny! My wife loved the salmon and I loved the lamb chops! The Yams are a must, Mac and cheese and greens are also really good.
The space was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly!!
Highly recommend for a date night or a girls night!

I come from Savannah, GA and came to Charlotte for an Anniversary trip…the food was 10/10, service, and everything was on point. I ordered Oxtails, Mac n Cheese, greens, yams. About $40 a plate…but baby when I tell you it was 100% worth it!

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! The salmon was dry and the skin was tough, the collard greens were salty, the six cheese baked macaroni was dry and lack flavor, and the shrimp were soggy. This food was ok, but not worth the price I paid and I definitely will not come back. I was overcharged a service fee of 20% assuming it was the delivery fee since I did order DELIVERY. My food was not delivered to me as requested and as CLEARLY stated on my receipt. When I asked about my $13.53 service charge since my food was not being delivered to me, the young lady just re-stated that they do not deliver unless it’s ordered through doordash. No explanation for the service charge and why doesn’t the order delivery button on the website guarantee delivery. The customer service is horrible and the food is not worth the hassle. I don’t understand how they received 4 stars and are still in business. There is NOTHING about this place that stands out or would make me eager to return. Overpriced and disappointing.

I was very unimpressed with my everything here. Number 1 dont say you have a “dine in” option when my food is in to-go boxes. There was no server; we had to order off of a QR code and then walk to a counter to retrieve our food. That’s to-go. Number 2 we ordered 2 oxtail empanadas (that were delicious) but only received 1. Was given chicken instead. (Though it was good, that’s not what I asked/ paid for.) Number 3 for lamb that’s $43 it better be A1. My lamb was overly seasoned (pepper) I stopped eating it. The lamb was also overcooked. Very disappointing. Number 4 the mac was lackluster. And number 5 the greens were way too spicy. Yams were great though! Overall, deff wasn’t worth the money paid.

Food was not presentable as some pictures displayed on the website. We paid over $60 for 2 meals and portions were very small. Do not order for delivery. No basic condiments for the fish like tarter sauce, no napkins, fish, wings, and collards were too salty. The mac n cheese was delicious. I have to try the dine in to get a hopefully Great experience!

I used to buy meals from this chef EVERY Friday… I’d spend no less than $100 with him because the food is that good!! I was over there soo much that we became friends! So sad he left Delaware but I’m positive North Carolina will enjoy his meals! They are excellent and always served in a timely manner! I had even booked him for a private breakfast for my wife’s birthday! Amazing! Great guy and great chef here… I miss him and the cooking… enjoy NC! It’s worth every dime

1st plate- oxtails, 6 cheese Mac, Caramel Yams and rice and beans
2nd plate- fried Mac balls, whiting, and collard greens
This was my first time trying this restaurant and my first time trying oxtails my review overall is 10 out of 10. The food was rich with flavor and had great portion size for takeout. Definitely recommend.
I also want to add I did not care much for the mac & cheese balls but everything else was amazing.

We drove 2 hours to celebrate our anniversary here cross state borders, and it was worth it!!!!! The staff was great, the bathrooms were cleaned, the bartender Gabby showed out with her drinks, and the environment was great…now the food!?! Seasoned to perfection!!

I ordered the stuffed salamon with candied yams and macaroni…the taste was amazing. The portions and quality are well worth what you pay. I also ordered the oxtail birria and it was magical ✨️. My husband loved his oxtails! Everything was just delicious. The portions are enough to feed more than one person but you will not want to share.
