Just “ok”.
Food kinda bland. Soup had negative flavor. Saw a bus boy walking around in pajama pants. Small town vibes… (shrugs) meh.

Nice little hometown diner. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Appeared 3/4 full based on tables. Staff was very nice and attentive to customers. Food was of average breakfast quality. Everything cooked to perfection but griddle clearly not cleaned well between preparing items because the pancakes had heavy onion and pepper flavor. Black coffee very weak and was basically black hot water.

First timer here and I’m glad we stopped by! I’m a huge fan of breakfast places like this and am glad we had a good experience. I got their well-liked hash brown dish and my kids got the pancakes. Proportions were huge. They happened to have whip cream and sprinkles as well which made my kids happy.

Awesome little place right off the highway. I got the Wednesday special, fried chicken buffet and I added a bowl of chili. The chicken crust was light, crispy and flavorful. The chili was meaty and truly homemade with big chunks of tomato. And the prices were very reasonable. I’ll be back.

You can’t beat a small town, country style cafe. If you don’t catch it in their name, nor their slogan “your home away from home cookin’” then taste it with what they are serving. Straight up menu of a variety of eggs, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, corn beef hash, ham, sausage and bacon. Seat yourself and before long you are bumping elbows with the locals hearing the latest weather report, crop predictions, fishing tales and the interests from around town. More accurate with flare and flavor from a whimsical old timer then you will ever find from one of those pretty talking heads online. My Homestyle Omelette was filled with diced sausage, hash browns, green peppers, mushrooms and cheddar cheese, with two slices of English muffin toast. An extra order of a fluffy, sweet pancake complimented the meal without breaking the bank. Food may not be fancy but fills the belly and leaves you feeling like you just left momma’s house.

Excellent food! If you want home cooking, you’ll get it here. Hot roast beef is the bomb! Make sure you get the hashbrowns, with your breakfast. They are the best I’ve had in a long time.

Charged me a 5% fee to use my card. I know for a fact they don’t get charged that much from the card company.

Food was hot, fresh and well prepared. Seating is limited. However your food comes fast. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you should stop by and grab breakfast.
