One of the best meals I have had. The prime rib was amazing. Perfectly cooked. Our server was great. The atmosphere was great with the fire place. The only down fall was i was stuffed and took dessert home. It melted lol. Rookie mistake.

The food was actually delicious. Although I must say the portion sizes were inadequate for the price point.
The service was great. My server was an older gentleman, who was even so attentive to align our plates in a similar way. Really the only negative is the amount for the price. TLDR service is great l, food tastes great, , you will leave still hungry.

We had lunch yesterday (Saturday) for my dad’s 75th birthday. The ambiance was nice except there were several house flies buzzing around our table the whole time. And when we told the waitress she asked us to take them with us when we leave. I ordered the fire cracker chicken sandwich for 17.00. The piece of chicken was TINY on the sandwich, certainly overpriced with no pickle for a side. You are charging out of state prices for minimal food. The waitress also forgot my dad’s coleslaw.

The server was very good.
The atmosphere was good.
The valentine’s day specials were good.
The strawberry and cream martini was excellent.
But the attention to detail was not good.
We had a party of five.
Out of three garden salads, one of these salads had nothing. But lettuce and carrot on it.
We got the chocolate bomb dessert out of four of them. Two of them had no whipped cream, and two of them had whipped cream. One of them had no chocolate sauce or whipped cream.
We may possibly eat here again.

After apple picking in Cantibury all I could think about was my favorite prime rib restaurant and it’s the Homestead. It did not disappoint. Plus I swear their butternut squash is the best around. I did double veggie over a baked or mashed because that’s how much I love their squash. Now, the fabulous surprise was the cheesecake special for dessert. My parents owned a family bakery for 54 years just outside Boston. Their cheesecake was New York style and hands down the best I’ve had in years. OMG I was supposed to only eat half so my significant other could eat the other half. Nope, I devoured it. Insanely good and I’m kicking myself for not requesting a piece to go. It has paragranet seeds and thinly shaved pears on top along with a sprinkle of pepitoes. Absolutely to die for . Service was exceptional as it always is. And their specialty fall beverages were simply amazing! If you have eaten here, it’s a must.

The building is beautiful snd the staff was very friendly. The food was okay… My husband and I both got steak, but neither were seasoned at all. Best part of the evening was that I was right next to the fireplace.

Always a great meal and I always order the shrimp and scallop risotto. Tonight I was a bit disappointed on 2 levels. My meal had uneven temperature. Some of it was just barely warm and other parts were really hot. And when the bill came, we were charged $32 for it when both the online menu and restaurant menu have it at $28. Hubby was happy with his steak special. Server was excellent.

This place strives to bring your grandma’s cooking straight to anyone. We’re talking a little bit of everything in this menu. The only downside is that it’s just not as good as the family recipe back home. It’s still a great spot to return to as there’s so many classic dishes that just sound good! Also, the person who decided carrot cake for a bread option… needs a raise.

The maple bourbon salmon was perfectly cooked, tender, and infused with a rich sweet sauce, complemented by creamy risotto and crisp asparagus. The meal was pure comfort food—satisfying and indulgent. The service was exceptional—friendly, quick, and attentive—while the warm fireplace added to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. A truly delightful dining experience!

Cute place with good food. Service was pretty good. Our first time sitting at a bar in months!!! Fantastic.
What’s left are the nachos in one picture. They were delightful with real cheese. Wings were perfectly crispy, you can get them tossed in sauce but I don’t like to do that so did the dip w the BBQ.
Good beers and ample space. There is a huge dining area and outdoor space, too. I would go back!
